Cronenberg's Videodrome improves with every viewing and I must have seen it five or six times now. I also enjoyed his controversial thriller Crash a lot more the second and third times round.

Re: Movies you enjoying seeing more the second time than the first time
Public Enemies, was pretty disappointed at the cinema but at home on BluRay wasn't that bad.
Think it's more having expectations more in line by second viewing |

Re: Movies you enjoying seeing more the second time than the first time
I've had quite a few movies that seemed better on a second view. American Beauty, La Vita e Bella etc. When I first watched them I thought .. wow, that's good, but seeing them for the second time made me notice more interesting aspects and love them even more.

I think Godzilla (1998)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120685/ got better the second time I saw it, although universally panned by the critics, it isn't actually that bad. On the other hand, Chinatown http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071315/ just keeps getting better no matter how many times I watch it. |
