just watched requiem for a dream. great movie. loved the extra where Ellen Burstyn interviews the author of the novel that the movie was based on. I plan to read the novel now. also plan to watch pi and the exorcist again. Burstyn is an incredible actress. so is Jennifer Connelly. I plan to watch Once a Upon a Time in America as a result of watching this movie.

Leaving Las Vegas is a good but sad drug movie.

Nic Cage is actually pretty good in it, surprisingly.

Fear & Loathing is far superior, But Where Buffalos Roam is kind of underrated.
But I prefer Depp's portrayal over Bill Murray.

If I have to pick Bill Murray's least favourite role, this one has to be it.

I wouldnt categorize Ray as a drug themed movie, but rather drugs play a part in the main characters arc.
