Other people look at the film for the film itself and not as a cast reunion.

I love DeNiro. One of the greatest actors. In fact we're watching Bronx Tale after the Super Bowl tonight. Love that movie.

Allow me to be blunt here: you are NOT a true movie fan or even knowledgable of movie history if you do not love, admire, appreciate, or respect Robert Deniro. The man's filmography reads like a movie encyclopedia.

If Raging Bull, Goodfellas, The Godfather Part 2, Taxi Driver, The King of Comedy, Heat, Mean Streets, Casino, Awakenings, Cape Fear, The Untouchables, Analyze This, Meet the Parents, and The Deer Hunter are not partially or entirely some of your favorite movies, then you have no business saying you are a movie fan in the first place!

He's a great actor who retired a long, long time ago.

BTW, if you include The Untouchables, Analyze This or Meet the Parents on a list of your favourite movies, I'd argue it's you who have no business saying you're a movie fan!

I would add The King of Comedy, Awakenings and Cape Fear to that list too, but I'm prepared to admit that, just maybe, there's something I missed.

I love Bobby D! He's my favorite actor.

Taxi Driver is my favorite movie and my first or second favorite performance of his.

Mr. De Niro is an excellent actor. Although there are films that he made that don't get several viewers that doesn't mean he is not an excellent actor.
