There seems to be no mention of Evil Dead 2 (1987) or even he original (1981). A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) i think also deserves some recognition. I know this isnt a list of 10, but they would be in mine and i feel they are quite inspirational, almost seminal horrors, especially of the 80s.

Going back to the 80's is too hard. Some movies transcend time, and in many times, hard to tell if it's from the 80's or 90's. Well, anyhow, here's my list:
