But budget was somehow overblown forcing him to nick most of that, only filming the Times Square scenes in Manhattan while filming the rest in Canada. I did a podcast episode on the franchise about a week ago and my guest called it "Jason on a Boat", I called it "Jason takes Canada but takes the long way to it" :laugh:

Yea I read about that about the budget issues. Imagine they called it Jason Takes A Cruise instead :laugh:

Well, he does have a lot of fun in the cruise. He gets in the club, plays guitar, uses the sauna, shoots harpoon... lots of fun.
