Good for The Big Sleep. Great flick. I just wished Kiss Me Deadly was higher
I can truly say, I loved them all...Not a bad film in the bunch! It was very hard to say which was the best as they all hard something special.

Maltese Falcon was a bit of a let down as I had remembered it as one of the greats. But sill glad I watched it, though it was disqualified as the person who nominated it never participated.

I Confess was the only new watch for me. It was good, but I liked the other films better.

I Confess suffered by the reputation of Hitchcock for me. A good film, but not near even an average Hitch film

Yea, I agree, I would rank it towards the bottom of all the Hitch films I've seen. But still a good film.

I liked it a good bit more than that. Thematically I absolutely loved it. I want to watch it again, something kept down towards a 3.5 for me, but I'm struggling to remember what. Anyway, loads better than North By Northwest. ;)

I'm glad everybody enjoyed my nom, can't go wrong with Bogart. Being my first hall of fame this was a really fun time. Look forward to doing it again soon.

Bogart is the man! Bogie won the first Film Noir Hof - In A Lonely Place (1950) So now there's back-to-back Bogie film wins. We'll have to see how Bogie fairs in the Film Noir Part 3...But that won't be for awhile.

Thanks to everyone for joining:)

Thanks Neiba for joining:) I enjoyed your nomination: I, Confess and it was the only film I hadn't seen, so that was a big plus for me.

I Confess should have been Obsession with Robert Newton. Hidden face was the name for the American release. Shouls have typed Kiss Me Deadly.
