Pretty clever thing to do. I wouldn't be surprised if that'll get him back to work. After all, if he is truly a pederast, shouldn't that make him a hero in Hollywood?

I guess it makes more sense when you realize his career might be over and he's desperate to try anything to salvage it.

I wonder if there's going to be some kind of weird pivot where he successfully fends off this accusation and it sort of runs interference for all the other accusations, like the one he sorta apologized for from a few decades ago. After all, it's perfectly plausible he's guilty of those acts, but not this latest one. Maybe the idea is to achieve vindication here and kinda hope that just carries over.
