The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg is I think the only musical I have ever really enjoyed. Everything is beautiful about it from the music to the dresses to Catherine Deneuve of course. I can't really think of too many others quality films that are also musicals, I know they made Chansons D'Amour based on The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, but that was dreadful.

New York New York, but I'm also a fan of the older ones, especially with Shirley Temple.

I love musicals. My favorite is easy but the next four into any sort of order was really hard.

My first musical was Avenue Q and I really enjoyed it. It was filled with puppets and more on the humorous side.
