12-27-20Basic subtractive synthesis isn't too hard to learn. If you don't already know it, youtube: Filters, envelopes, LFOs, & Oscillators and you'll be much more comfortable with synth interfaces.
FM & wavetable synthesis, however, tend to be much more complicated. -
10-07-20lol. it happens. years ago when I was posting REALLY crappy song thumbnails to YouTube was all excited if I got 2 likes. Then one day some kat DISliked a post and my world imploded. ugh. lol.

09-18-20Now that I think of it, I may be mixing ProTools with Logic. Take my previous comments with a few grains of salt if that's the case.
Here is a nice thread asking about Studio One Pro 5: https://vi-control.net/community/thr...-option.98184/ -
09-18-20I appreciate the offer
if I EVER get to that point I may reach out on that.
As to ProTools, no I've never used it. That's Mac-only, correct? I cannot cite my source so this could be a glitch in memory, but I THINK I've read Mac users having issues with Presonus. That might have been a older version though, or it might have been another program completely. I'm not kidding when I say getting older sucks =\
You might thumb around https://vi-control.net/community/ for more experienced information. That site is mostly for orchestral stuff using virtual instruments but there are a LOT of sub-forums there. One or two are dedicated to software and hardware conversations. I learned a lot there over the last few months. I believe a lot of those users are dedicated ProTool users so you might find something useful. A smaller segment use Presonus (both Windows and Mac).
I think it boils down to personality and how you interactive with the UI. For me, Studio One Pro was just so intuitive. Everything just made sense as to where things were. That said, there are users in that forum link above that absolutely hate it and can't find anything they need when they need it.
As far as I know though, ProTools has been around in the Mac world forever. I would imagine that it has most of the bugs long since worked out.

Avengers: Endgame is, at best, revisionist history; it wants you convinced that the MCU can be better than it

Spirited Away is also one of the few animated films where you surrender nothing when faced with the choice bet
