They had temporarily escaped the factories, the warehouses, the slaughterhouses, the car washes - they'd be back in captivity the next day but now they were out - they were wild with freedom.     So what are you doing now? I think the only thing that has changed with me since I talked to you last is that I work for the state now instead of the city... and I work the graveyard shift which means I can't hang out here late at night anymore and when I'm here during the day I'm half asleep most of the time...
