The themes of the film is pure Scorsese and it felt visually I was watching a lost film Akira Kurosawa movie.
Citizen Rules
The filming in the jungles of Taiwan, really make this film look special.

The film however was very slow and meticulous, unlike the faster pace in some of Scorsese's newer films.
