Rarely have I seen an action spy-thriller be so bland; dragging itself across the floor instead of doing so with the several henchmen that drench the floor - hench, theres a lot of violence here too, but blood nor body count can wholeheartedly save this pulse-less story.

The plot being rife with double-crosses and shifting loyalties definitely reflects the flaw that ultimately compromises Atomic Blonde - for a film that screams style over substance, it definitely wants to spend a significant amount of time on the substance.

I had been looking forward to this film ever since it came out, with its promise of big, dumb, colorful action fun.
