Oscar winner Chris Cooper delivers as Ally's dad and I also liked Tait Ellington as Tyler's roommate and Kate Burton as Tyler's dad's assistant, but if the truth be told, it is the surprisingly powerful performance by Pierce Brosnan as Tyler's icy dad that was the real standout here...Brosnan never ....
