Apart from Gandolfini's great acting, there is nothing else special about this movie....

My main complaint is that the relationship between Eva and her daughter Ellen feels underserved, and the subplot with Ellen's friend serving as a surrogate daughter to Eva felt a bit forced.

Eva begins dating Albert and the relationship is going swimmingly until Eva figures out that Albert is Marianne's ex-husband.
