Most people tend to talk about Fulci's more, um, excessive displays of gore (maggots anyone?), but I found that my favorite scares here were more of the slow-burn variety.

Its in The Beyond that two such scenes can be found, and while in typical Fulci fashion they cant help but grind the whole film to a momentary standstill, they also seem to strangely compliment the elusive, impossible to pin down strangeness of the surrounding film.
Chypmunk
Zombie horror that forms the second of Fulci's 'Gates Of Hell' trilogy and certainly contains some worthwhile moments even if as a whole it is a rather mixed affair.
