   I took it as a reflection of his current unhealthy way of living but also a subtle foreshadowing of Bickle himself. His rage and anger are bubbling underneath the surface, and by the end of the movie it will explode in the final shoot out. At least that is my take.

   Hello Gunslinger, I know you love Taxi Driver, I do too. I watched it again a few days ago and one scene confuses me...........still. You know the scene where the camera zooms into the glass when it starts to bubble (right before Travis is offered to sell an item by Doughboy), what's your take on it? interpretation?
