    Since you asked, I'd recommend Meet John Doe, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, It Happened One Night and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington at least. Deeds, Smith and Doe are all Capra's precursors to George Bailey. It Happened One Night is just a classic and Gable is great in it. After that, personally I'd say Arsenic and Old Lace and You Can't Take It With You, but you might want a different type of Capra film. If so, Lost Horizon or Bitter Tea of General Yen might be better options. Those are all really good films (Meet John Doe is my personal favorite after IAWL).

    Darn, It's A Wonderful Life is such a great film I must watch it this christmas, together with The Shop Around The Corner. Are there any other Capra films that you recommend I must watch?
