Futurama

Everyone keeps praising how great the Simpsons are, I think its about time Futurama got some play.

My favorite episode is Insane in the Mainframe. It's the one where Roberto robs a bank, but Fry and Bender get arrested for it. They get convicted and sent to the robot insane asylum. It has some of the best lines ever.

Anyone else have any favorite episodes? I know Ryan will.

My favorite of the series so far is Fear of a Robot Planet (when Bender goes to deliver a package to an all-robot planet and Fry and Leela have to go and get him back), but a close second is the one where Bender flushes Nibbler down the toilet (I don't remember what that one was called).

And any one with Zapp Branigan is classic. Now that I think about it, they're all very good.

That one was called I Second That Emotion. Great episode. They all are. It's a pity not everyone appreciates how good this show is. It's one of the best on TV.

I also love the episode where Bender crashes the oil tanker on Pluto, which is then full of penguins. Then to escape cleaning it up, Bender pretends to be a penguin. I love it when he falls into the water on Pluto"

"Geez, whats this water made of?! Ice?! Forget this!!" then when he goes to swim out an Orca whale starts batting him around like a seal.

Then when Fry first meats Doctor Zoidberg:

Zoid: "Now open your mouth and lets have a look at your brain"
(Fry opens his mouth)
Zoid: "No, no, no not that mouth. Your other mouth."
Fry: "I only have one mouth."
Zoid: "REALLY!?!"
Fry: "Is there a human doctor around?"
Zoid: "Young lady! I am an expert in humans! Now pick a mouth, open it, and say "Dagagagadooo"(thats a weird noise he made with his tendril things)
Fry confused: "Dagagagadooooo"
Zoid: "WHAT?!?! MY MOTHER WAS A SAINT!!! GET OUT!!"

i love futurama a lot, too! :D that show is awesome because it fits in so many funny tv and movie parodies. remember the planet of women that wanted to mate? that was a funny episode.

here, og. i'm bringing up your futurama thread. :) just to know, when are new episodes starting? i've been missing the show lately, and i wish i could see it again.

New Futurama episodes don't start until mid-December. I assume because so many eps got preempted for football games in many markets that they've decided to avoid that whole situation and not premiere the new eps until after football is essentially over.

oh, great, that means football is gonna ruin simpsons for 4 months, too. nothing against football it's a great sport, but i need my simpsons on time, dammit.

I think Futurama and think it is great, im loving the new movies. Ive seen 3 so far and im looking forward to the 4th coming out in March (UK)

Ive loved the first 3 movies they are awesome, it is great to see NEW futurama! As we have the 4 seasons and have watched them to death lol.

The 4th film I am sure is going to be amazing and im really looking forward to see it.

Also has anyone actually translated any of the hidden messges in the series? I have read online that when you see the Futurama writing on the screen it is actually able to translate it. I havent actually tryed this but I was wondering if anyone has?
