Aside from ones mentioned, I really liked Rocko's Modern Life and Angry Beavers (and Futurama, which wasn't mentioned yet, but I think I've made my opinions known of Futurama).

It's nice having kids so I don't feel like such a dork watching Nickelodeon all the time (I love SpongeBob Squarepants. It's usually hilarious).

Disney sucks. Actually some of the cartoons in Fantasia 2000 are pretty cool but most of their stuff is lame. For instance the main character is a non agressive really nice mouse. no fun. But probably fun for the kids of the 50s. Buggs Bunny has attitude hes kind of a smartass he cracks me up. But pluto getting stuck with gum while trying to fetch the morning paper BORING......:rolleyes: :yawn:

The Simpsons is the best animated show ever!

The Family Guy is so well written, and has the same sense of humor that the Simpsons does, quickly becoming my second favorite cartoon show.

last night, i saw a wile e. coyote cartoon on tv, and it really took me back to my childhood. thinking about it, all of chuck jones' stuff was really awesome. he directed a lot of tom and jerry cartoons (which are cool) not to mention the grinch and a lot of stuff at warner bros. from an artistic viewpoint, those cartoons really are impressive when you consider that they were all drawn by hand (no computers in those days) and every element was thought up to be totally original because there were no established cliches for animation in that time period. also, have you ever watched bugs bunny or another one of those classic cartoons since you were a kid? they are actually extremely clever and a lot brainier than people give them credit for. there's no way you could watch the flintstones, for example without thinking of "all in the family" or another sophisticated adult sitcom. it didn't have sex jokes, but no little kid can relate to paying bills, getting pregnant, and losing your job. and i think bugs bunny's brooklyn accent is awesome :D any thoughts?

Oh no, not "Reboot." My brother watched that for awhile. I hate it when a show's main appeal is the fact that it's made with computer graphics. :) Yeah, "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" were visually stunning when they originally came out, but they were good movies in their own right, all technology aside.

Hey, I just caught a new show on the Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. It's called, Home Movies. It's a cartoon done in the style of Dr. Katz ( remember that one from comedy central?) it's really a good cartoon. Has some very funny moments. Check it out.

-Watched it growing up; after re-watching some episodes it's probably the worst show I ever liked as a kid. something I'm still a little embarrassed to admit, since it's about on the same level as a low budget Hanna Barbara cartoon in terms of plot, characters, etc - and no I can't forgive it just for being a "kid's cartoon" since there other other shows (like Dragonball Z or the Batman/Superman Animated Series) which are actually still pretty good
