My mother loves to tell me what is wrong with my life, when her life could use some work!

What is it that your mother does, or says, that just irritates the HELL out of you?

She hasn't had the opportunity to do it in years of course, but she used to tell me "time to go to bed", even til I was 22 and about to be married. I asked her one evening if she was disappointed not to have produced any retarded children who would need that sort of direction at the age of 22. She said: :rolleyes:

Well my mom never sat of my face and passed gas but...

My mom has an anxiety disorder and when I was younger she used to embarass the heck out of me when she flew off the handle in public. Also to this day she thinks my friends are a bad influence on me. Even though I am 25 and can make my own decisions and I am more mature than the rest of my family will ever be, she thinks I am influenced by my friends. She has only met my boyfriend, no one else but automatically think they are bad news. My mom also thinks that if I refuse to come visit her or talk to her on the phone that I am on drugs or it is "too boring" at her place.

Well, If I didn't call to tell her I was going to be late, my mother always assumed I was dead in a ditch, and this went on untill I was 24. And everytime I had a girl over the house, she was on me to get married and have chilrdren. haha

I miss my mom.

She's kinda over-reactive, and she changes her mind like crazy, other than that, I love her. One time, I finally got her to let me rent Pulp Fiction. I'm 14 mind you. So anyway, I get home and watch it as soon as I get to the TV. I watch it begenning to end, no breaks, and I loved it! So I was all in my moment of "Just watched a movieidus" and then all of a sudden she comes up to me and says. "This movie is innapropriate, I don't know why I let you rent it!" and takes it back to Blockbuster, and I'd only had it for less than a day! Talk about money wasting. She took Platoon back too, before I even got to see anything but the first of it. Though I've still got my Kill Bill DVDs. :D
