Yo, MoFo's! :)

As Yoda said, we're starting fresh on this project and it's got a timeline of under two weeks. To get the ball rolling, I want to let you know how things are scheduled to play out:

I'll be posting the list of awards and opening the nominations today.

Nominations will be open until Sunday (10/31), and the voting will get underway on Monday (11/1). Polls will remain open for a week, closing on Sunday(11/7), and we'll make official announcements the next day.

Since it's been a few weeks since this idea got going and things have changed a bit, I'm also asking for volunteers to moderate the polls. You won't have mofo mod status, but you will have input on approving nominee's and helping get the polls open. If this sounds interesting, please PM me by Friday. starrdarcy and Anonymous_Last have already agreed, and I could use a few more hands on deck.

Below is the list of awards for which you can nominate your fellow MoFo's. Please keep in mind the following points, when making your nominations:

I'm kinda going with "on average". I tended to nominate people whose avs have been the same for awhile, and that I've come to associate with them. Use which ever criteria you feel though - it will all average out, I reckon.

I'm rather new, and now that I find out about these awards, I have to get onboard and become known! So I'm going for the best newbie award...

By the way, if there was an award for worst user, someone who everybody wished never joined and did not rear their face upon you guys, who would that be? I know it is not really in the spirit of the awards but it will bring people together, picking on the weak, has been happening for centuries!

As they say in The Biz, "that's a wrap". I agree with everybody who said this was tough. MoFo really has a lot of great posters!

If you didn't get to post nominations, don't worry: there have been enough repeat nominations in the thread to make it fairly clear who our nominees will be. The one adjustment being made is to limit the number of nominations a person can have, so that more people get nominated.

I'm planning on thanking everybody who contributed when the winners are announced. There's been a lot of effort poured into this, by a lot of people. It's been fun planning it, but I'll still be biting my nails til it's all done. Thanks for the encouragement, y'all.

What? Whats all this MOFO awards malarky? I feel like ive been in a hole for the last couple of weeks..........Ok if im honest i have been in a hole for the last couple of weeks, but it was very pleasant, not too damp and had a great kitchen, im not joking it had like a brand new cooker, chrome the works, i tell you......ANYWAY Dam university! Dam no internet connection at my house! I feel like i've missed the Oscars. RIGHT, im gonna do some research on this MOFO awards doohicky and cast some votes, didnt realise it was Offish! (as in official, me and my showbiz talk.)
