In this thread I will post every time I see a movie. Sense I just joined today I could post 100s of reviews but I want them to be some what relevant to what's either going on in my life or the media. I am sure a couple movies I review there will be people who disagree with me, and that is 100% cool. I just hope that you guys can take this as an opinion. I am going to do two reviews for every movie.

The first one will be the Non-Spoiler review that just gives a basic outlay of the movie, and a little bit about the story but not giving the whole thing away. And then the second review in the same thread will be about the movie, but it will give everything away.

If you reply please be understanding and use the Spoiler tag. I am a webmaster myself and I know how much work it takes to make a vB and a site, and they made it to be used! So please us it, I also am going to the trouble not to spoil anything for anyone so that really can sum up what this thread will be about. I hope to have 100s of Reviews and become a prime poster at this message board.

If you have any questions for me you can reply or PM me. Anyways this is a message board so I am going to of course have fun! I am going to start the next thread with my favorite movie of all time and that would be ...

"Elephant" An ordinary high school day. Except that it's not.

Movie: http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0001EFUFK.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
Director: Gus Van Sant
Year: 2003
Awards: Palme D'or (2003 Cannes Film Festival)
Main Stars: Due to the director wanting this movie to be as realistic as possible he took normal every day students from a High School and used them to film this movie. Most of them have no acting experiance what so ever. He also made most of the students real names their names in the movie. So for example if your name was Alex then in the movie your charectors name was Alex, same for John and the list could go on forever.

Non-Spoiler Review: Well this is by far my favorite movie of all time. It's number one on my list. When i first heard about this movie I didn't want to see it. I heard the title and that was it. My friend wouldn't tell me anything about the movie. And it was called Elephant. I didn't even know what the movie was about. But I will tell you! The movie is about a school shotting. If you enjoyed the movie "Bowling for Columbine" Then you might like this movie. I saw Bowling for Columbine and thought it was good, I will review that movie at a later time. Anyways its time to get into the plot.

The plot of the movie is very basic, it's one day (well if you count the shotters at home getting the gun it could be two) and it's just an ordinary high school day, except it's not. John's father is a drunk and he comes into school late and then he gets in trouble. It's really just a movie that you have to watch. The camera shots in this movie are amazing to me. Some people call them borinng useing the following shot so much or just showing the sky for 2 minutes and nothing happening but it shows you real life. For instance when the camera follows a guy from a football feild to the pirncapals office for no reaon what so ever and he doesn't say anything to anyone and the time frame would be around five mintues. Some people call that boring, I call it geneous, becuase in real life you would have to walk there and most likey wouldn't talk to anyone. This movie is one that you will have to watch twice to get everything, and then even there you won't get it all. Great movie. Read below to find out the ending.

The shooters are Alex and Eric. They are the killers for one reason that we know. They are picked on. And Alxes plan is simple ... get guns and go crazy on the school. And that's what they do, after playing a great peice on the piano the two boys buy a gun online and get it the next day. They go to the school and shot everyone in their path. The problem is this ... one of their bombs didn't go off. The plan failed so they went to Plan B ... and that was to go to the library. This is where I got upset, They shoot Michelle, a girl that is like them. That is made fun of all the time. And really had no right to be killed, but she dies. They just didn't get as many kills as they wanted. In the end Alex shoots eric and the only one who really lives is John. The end shooting is over before you know it. But it's still shot great. In the end Alex finds two students hiding in the frige and the movie ends before you find out if he shoots them

So there you have it, my first review. I am sure it won't be my best. I might edit this later, I typed it up semi fast becuase I wanted to get it online. Hope you enjoy.

Anyway, signing up last month and posting thirty-something times is still a lot more than signing up today and posting twice. Truth be told, though, I wouldn't have selected that70sguy's thread if not for the layout's sake, which works best with a number of threads divisible by three.
