And I Will Be Happy

Upon my baby's arrival from Alaska...i wrote her this poem..

What do you guys think? (And im thinking this will be the thread I stage all my other poems..unless the mods give me an alotted aread in which to submit my poems..like how other members get review areas) anyways..let me know what you think..but whatever the case..it comes from the heart..

And I Will Be Happy
In dedication to someone I love


The licks of the sun,
come streaming down to greet her cheeks.
And radiant her face becomes,
of magnitiude I have not seen before.



Brumal is the ice of Alaska,
but warmer the state becomes upon her visit.
I need only look at her pictures once,
to know she's the one I want.



So close to me has she come,
wither she goes I stay with her.
Forever shall I trust her,
and all that she brings to me.



Through immeasurable distance,
and untold difficulties I will follow her.
For a friendship such as this,
knows no greater love.



With her head on her shoulders,
a stronger will than I've imagined possible,
and beauty beyond comparison,
she makes even me feel small.



And as I lay there with her,
my heart beats the merrier at the sound of hers.
Time freezes and one begins to think,
close to her is never close enough.



And as I touch her,
I am pleasantly electrified.
Thoughts of happiness and joy,
rush to me like a flock of birds.



Being with her is without a doubt,
the single best thing to happen to me.
I await with eagerness our meeting,
with the full knowledge that I love her.



And I will be Happy.
