Just going with the trend ;) Hope its not breaking any rules

-----

Ever hear some hype about a movie, but then you knew it’d be like all the other times. You watch it and feel your life go to waste, right? Like the time your friend asked you to watch The Ring and he said it was the scariest movie ever…but then you watched it and felt like murdering your friend? Yes, I have “frenzies” like that when I am let down or disappointed.

I kid. Now, I was told to watch the Butterfly Effect. I waited a little bit and got some of the movies I had my eye on for quite sometime and then went out and rented it Saturday night. July 24, 2004. I went out and brought another movie with myself, but I’ll let them one rest for now. The issue at hand is the Butterfly Effect. The movie is directed by Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber. Never heard of those names? Don’t worry I’m with you. For J. it’s his first movie and Eric follows that this one up with Final Destination 2 under his belt.

Now, I accepted this movie to be like any other Ashton Kutcher film, whom was the star (and a great one I might add) in this somewhat twisted up Drama. It had its scientific moments, which added to its science fictional/non-fictional edge. Over all, you really can’t make this out for one genre…it’s many, just like the candy you get on Halloween.

Now mainly, you start to watch this movie and think to your self either the VHS or DVD is malfunctioning cause the suspense has slowly started. Yeah, I had the same thought on my mind when I saw it…but then the good old introduction of writers and producers and what not popped up on the screen. That took away that problem, and I lay back against my “comfy” sofa and let the time pass bye as I watched this movie.

(Introduce yourself to the cast and crew: http://movies.go.com/filmography/Credits?movie_id=45221 Obviously, I use this cause I can’t type/remember some of the names…never am shy J)

Evan Treborn (*Mainly* played by Ashton Kutcher) has inherited some sort of hereditary gene from his father, an assumed psychopath whom stays at an Insane Asylum through out the movie. Now this gene or whatever you might want to call it is some sort of special ability. Yes, I am talking about that X-Men stuff! I know you’re getting happy all ready. Now, back to the point…he has “special powers”. Don’t get this confused from when your mom says your special, cause this is way off the charts. :-p

Due to some paranormal reason, Evan through out his early childhood and early teens experiences blackouts at random times, moments, and places. The surrounding is forever different when these occur, and this is no spoiler. Now as you can guess when these “blackouts” occur you’d expect him to fall over and go into some trance. Here you are mighty wrong. The thing is, when these blackouts occur he does not fall over…he continues to live his life normally…he can still walk, produce thoughts, and think accordingly…the thing is he just can not remember what happens during these blackouts.

Through out his life, Evan is haunted by the fact he has a father, but not a father idol. As I stated before, his father does not live with him. This daunts Evan as being that unparticular kid that grows up in a different way, and he does. His mother tries her very best to ring him up the traditional way any family does, and tries her best to give him a fatherly role model by attempting for him to bond with one Kayleigh Miller’s, childhood friend of Evan, father. Of course, the bonding goes in the WRONG direction…and I can’t stress that enough.

Now due to these blackouts and no sign of stopping, Evan is asked to write in a journal of these events that take place…and he quickly organizes thing correctly by writing “BLACKOUT” on a posted and putting it on the pages of his composition notebooks. Greatly done, he can look over these in the future and try his best to find out what has been going on.

Now through out this movie, they quickly showed the life of Evan, Kayleigh, Lenny Treborn (another childhood friend of Evans. Also, he bares the name Treborn. I believe www.movies.com has it wrong and it should be Kagan…) along with Tommy Miller, brother to Kayleigh and a protective one I must add. It seems as soon as Evan entered Tommy’s life, things were sour between the two and a bitter rivalry was stewing between the two.

As the years passed, many incidents occur that I cannot break for you. You’ll simply have to take the time out of your schedule to watch this movie. J Soon enough, Tommy finds himself to have moved away from Kayleigh and his friends. He promises Kayleigh as he departs he’ll come back for her.

Somehow through out the movie the directors tried their very best to show some sort of bond between Kayleigh and Evan…I barely saw it except for maybe a 2 second stint, which was ruined by Tommy as you can might try to assume. Honestly, this part of the movie was horribly put together. No bond or relationship was shown to prove that Kayleigh and Evan had that sort of thing for one another, other then just being a guy and girl friends…not the relationship sort. I’m sure they could of emphasized this bond a little bit better by throwing in that heroic effort, not too big, but one managable for someone his age. Didn’t happen, unless I am blanking out.

The movie –truly- begins once Evan has reached his days as sorority boy. Showing off good amount of smarts and looks, you can pretty much say that Evan has it made…especially that he hasn’t encountered another blackout for the last 7 years. To enjoy himself, he goes out with his roommate…Thumper. While they rejoice themselves, Evan picks himself up a fine lady and brings her back to his room. As they slowly start to do things, the lady shows some curiosity as she looks for something I couldn’t make out, she finds Evan’s journals.

Pleadingly she gets Evan to read one to him…and this is where the adventure starts. His “powers” are thrown into affect as he is washed back to a time that he couldn’t remember. A time where he would be blacked out and ponder what happened that very moment. As of now, he could watch it and do another something special. And as he does all this, he experiences something that you can see only before your eyes.

The performance given out by Ashton Kutcher is phenomenal. I predicted laughs, but I got very few. Instead, I got something better in return. An emotional character that shows the every day battle he must contend with as a child and how it has affected him as an adult. His performance was, well, off the hook! Honestly, what he expressed is something I’ve never seen any comical genius (yes, I view him as a comical genius and sort of a mentor J) express before. I was just awed by his performance, and I just hope he is given out another chance to release this hidden masterpiece of his.

You may make it sound like I am going by everything you might have heard before this review, but I am not. It may sound the same, but the words are different and it comes from me, someone who doesn’t follow society if it’s the new trend or not. Now as I look at this movie, I can REALLY rate this movie with a five out of five. Why? Well, honestly you’ll just have to look at this movie because it has fresh and originality written all over it…to me at least.

I have a small movie collection going, and no one should be surprised if this movie sits in that collection as well. Also, I must point out the fact that John Patrick Amedori, who played Evan at age 13/14 might be big one day…but that’s from my own personal view. As I saw him perform, I saw something more out of him then most actors his age…it had to be the realism he showed. Honestly, I can’t tell you…you just have to go out there and see it.

Now.

You liked the Butterfly Effect? I thought the acting was subpar. They also made quite a lot of assumptions about human behavior in that movie--assumptions that I dont necessarily agree with. I suppose the movie of itself was not a bad movie, but I find that I often judge a movie on its themes/judgments/moral proffers more so than on other elements. It was a good thought and intent, and I am sure most moviegoers got the point.

I just thought the end all result, the "answer" provided by the scriptwriter was pretty depressing.

Good review, btw. :)

Well, here's my review for The Bourne Supremacy Spoilers could be around there....though I tried my best to keep them in. It's short because....there wasn't really much to say cept one thing, which you can find in there

Spoilers Ahead...Maybe

I usually don’t come to movies, spend an odd 7 dollars and blow it off…but I had the feeling to do so in this particular film. http://imdb.com/title/tt0372183/ The Bourne Supremacy, which is a sequel to The Bourne Identity. Matt Damon plays Jason Bourne…a very well trained, intellectual man who is very confused and unadjusted to his past. Knowing the person who he is, from the last movie, Matt takes himself to get rid of his past and start a new life…something we all wish to do at our lives.

As he spends his days in Goa, India (I believe that’s where he resided), he so often gets flashbacks of such events of his past life and encounter with others as he worked for the CIA. It’s bit and pieces, very small bits and pieces. He does his very best to keep them in his mind, going as far enough to write them down in an unorganized manner. As he lives with his girlfriend (I’m assuming), Marie, he always has the vibe that these people will come for him; that the people who created him will want to destroy him.

Of course as you can expect, something goes wrong. What it is? I won’t tell you, but you’ll have to crawl out to watch the movie yourself. Now, this incident leads to Jason having to leave once again. He leaves and takes his necessities with him, but this time he’s going to fight back…with revenge on his mind.

At the same time of the incident, there is a woman by the name of Pam Landy whom is on Jason’s case because of this incident that goes wrong. She, being the snoopy woman she is, takes it her case to fly off from Berlin (where the incident occurred) and to Langley, Virginia home to the CIA. As she arrives, she interacts herself with a man whom I disliked from the very beginning, Ward Abbott.

Ward is one of those stuck up men, whom has the power and will abuse it to his pleasure. He does that as well and to his full capabilities. Honestly, he’s like the stuck up man you see in every movie. He throws the facts to the side and relies on his own assumptions.

This movie is just like the last. There’s a team working on finding Bourne. That’s what it’s pretty much about. All of them crammed in this small, little office. They try their best to go after Bourne, but Bourne is one up instead. It’s a remake of the last one, some things are written over and that’s about it.

Honestly, this is a really short review for a movie…mainly because I disliked it. Now I could go on about the “blunders” of this movie, but I’d rather have you check it out for yourself before I poison your mind with my little words. As for a rating, I give it a 2.5 out of 5. I give it that rating due to the reasons I stated above. As for the good stuff, there was some of it. That little “I’m better then you” tricks or the “I’m way ahead of you” ones. Also, there’s a great car scene in there.

To add to the whole movie, stop shaking the frigging camera. It doesn’t help; it pisses us off.

Some Spoilers...Kind Of

Big Fish
2003
Directed by Tim Burton

I held in the facts that I was going to find myself watching another Butterfly Effect. If you’ve read my review on The Butterfly Effect, you have might have some small idea of what I am talking about. Most of it relates to hype, and of course I don’t believe the hype that it gives its self out until someone tells me about its beauty. So of course, I looked around the glorious thoughts of avid movie watchers and saw the presence of Big Fish, http://imdb.com/title/tt0319061/ I made it my goal not to quite long ago to go out, and continue my hobby of movie viewing and reviewing. Sounds boring to you? That’s nice.

Moving forward, I walked down the stairs with Big Fish and Saving Private Ryan. I held SVR off to the side, for I felt as if I had to watch Big Fish. I truly thought I might be dawned upon once again with such grace and excellence, but it seems to be as if I went wrong with that desired theory. Instead, I got something an avid Disney watcher, whom I used to be at one time, might like. I was truly disappointed at what I came to see and watches. Before you read this, there are small amounts of spoilers in my reviewing…act fact now or continue reading.

I put in the DVD, sat down with a glass of Coke and waited for the lights to shine from the heaven and bless with me a writer’s beautiful mind. Instead the only light that shown that night was the one from the TV. The movie, as you can tell, involves a fish…a story of a fish actually, whom a man named Ed Bloom, played by Albert Finney, tells quite often. Ed has told this story so many times, particularly to his son, that his son can pretty much tell it just as good as his father can.

Now growing up as a young child, you’ve probably been told you’re share of old tales when you went to bed or went over to Grandpa’s house and heard his old war stories. For Will Bloom, played by Billy Crudup, it’s a different story. For years and years on, far past the years a child needs to be read/told a story at bedtime, his father kept pouring his fishing stories, along with some other –unbelievable- stories, into Will’s head over and over. Now most of these stories consist of things you can’t even begin to imagine.

I’ll put it in very short words for you. Ed Bloom says he’s lived the life that everyone else wants, but rarely gets to live. He’s done everything that most people can barely dream of. He’s seen all sorts of wonders and blunders, and he remembers it very well indeed. A bit too well, that it slowly starts to tear a hole in the father-son relationship. During the beginning of the movie, Will confronts his father of his –unbelievable- stories and how he should stop this “bull****”. His father, taken back, has his own words and shares them quite proudly.

Soon enough, father and son lose most contact. Thanks to Will’s mother Sandra, played by Jessica Lange, he continues to stay in contact with his family. I believe he has moved out to France. It might not be noted, but that’s what I believe. I could be DEAD wrong on this, and probably am, but I’m just stating what I believe, right? Now, Will comes home one day to learn that his dad is short on his last couple of days on the face of Earth.

Doing what every son would do (hopefully), he goes out to his parent’s house and spends time with his dad. Also, at the same time, he continues to daunt himself with his father’s stories. As he arrives there, he starts to speak to his father…something he has done in over three years. Now as he does, he goes straight to the point and blatantly tells his father that he doesn’t know who he is and that he told lies all of his life. His father, once again taken back, approaches his son by saying something to the degree that he never told lies and that everything that he said happened, had happened.

Now, through out the story you’re slowly going to start to see most (I believe) the stories Ed has told. Ed shows himself as a younger, fresher man, and shows how his incredible journeys have taken him to his present day. From showing how his faith is to come to walking into a town that might as well be called Heaven, the movie reviews how he grew up to be the man he is. Will, on the other hand, is VERY skeptical about all of this. Most of the things he would say is, in fact, things you’d go look through at the Children’s Section in a library.

Now another person awkwardly expresses her opinions about his stories. This person is Will’s wife Josephine, played by Marion Cotillard. Josephine asks her father-in-law about how he met up with his wife and her mother-in-law. In return, Josephine believes she gets a bogus story, but keeps this thought to herself and only smiles when Will asks her if she believes his father.

Onto the brink of this movie, you can quickly say that it has quite the acting. A very, lively touch is added to it…but it’s a bit more for such a film. This film could of exceeded boundaries, but it lacked something. Honestly, what it lacks is what I am trying to find out as I write this review. The movie shows the boldness and weird turn of events that life throws out. Also, on the other hand, it shows life with fantasy. Honestly, fantasy and drama do not mix. Comparing those words would make an oxymoron of a sort. It just doesn’t mix nor belong together.

Most hybrid movies are usually good, but this one slowly turned my head in the direction of icky. I had to shrug my shoulders and forced myself to watch this movie and see what was so big about it. I thought I’d be in for a stellar movie, but instead I feel as if I got a crap box. Now when I talk about hype, I am talking about the labels all over the DVD box. “Academy Award Nominee” and the four star rating given off. When I talk about being introduced to a film, I am talking about a suggestion made by anyone…even if it’s a stranger I meet at a bench.

I decided to live up to the suggestions and popularity and went out and got it. I watched it and expressed my reviews. For the conclusion, I can sum it up as a 2 stars out of 5. Honestly, the only creditability I can give it is that it states that life can be controlled just like a car. The catch is that you need to be one hell of a good drive though.

Sppppppppppoilers!!! Kind of, again

Kill Bill Volume 1

2003

Quentin “Mother ****ing” Tarantino

I, personally, just don’t get it. Was it because Quentin Tarantino showed up on some famous, Hollywood show and the host of it blatantly said, “check out Quentin’s newest movie Kill Bill in theatres on…” You get the idea, right? Now the many viewers of this show must of gone out to the theatres, watched Kill Bill and must of heard another commanding voice say, “This is the greatest movie ever! Tell your friends.” So the fans embarked on a journey. They trekked long and far, until it reached my ears and they wouldn’t shut the hell up about it. They slammed it through one ear, and put a cone at the other end…no way out, but just to watch this fabulous, gracious film.

I kid. It blew. People said it has martial arts, and that intrigues me and slowly made its way into my brain. Also, some people wouldn’t keep quiet of its greatness, so I just, “Fine, let’s get it.” Came out of Family Video with the DVD and set home. Once we got there, couple of people with me scattered down the stairs with some pop and popcorn, and shoved it and waited for this great, exhilarating, fantastic movie!

It’s just that, it never came. No, the screen wasn’t black…I never felt any greatness. No exhilarating feeling came over me, and this movie was FAR from fantastic. It was ordinary. It was something you’d see late night on TV on IFC or USA. It wasn’t too exciting. It wasn’t full of anything new. People say Quentin is full of originality…that’s nice, but his sort of originality doesn’t please me one bit. He devoted this movie to older kung-fu flicks, right? Well that’s very nice, but the movie didn’t spark me at all. It would have been a lot better for the general audience if they changed it to a full show devoted to Kung-Fu and put it on FOX on a Friday night.

The movie started out like I was told. There was a mass murdering of some people at a wedding, and one survived. The name isn’t given at all, which is quite stupid how they try to cover it up. Let me give you a hint: beep. Good enough? They went through the movie to show what happened and where she was. Some of the actions used through out the movie were SICK! When I mean sick, I don’t mean gore and stuff. I mean sick as in mental-illness sick.

There are lots of flash backs in this movie, like any other Tarantino movie. They all have flash backs, some strange plot, and, to me, they blow. I watched this movie, and started to get bored. As the movie carried on, The Bride, as she is called, tried to get her revenge one by one. First they showed a scene where she attempted to get her revenge, and then it continued on and on. Some of the parts used in the movie were okay, but it seemed to just kept going…and going. A bit like the Energizer bunny, with a frigging Katana.

The movie left out lots of things, but I just get the response, “wait for the next.” I’m impatient. I can’t wait. It takes months for a movie to come out, not like a weekly show on TV. I can wait a week, not months.

Honestly, there’s nothing much more to say about the movie. I give the movie a two out of five stars. Unrealistic. Boring. Dragging on. It might have just been me that felt this, but then again it’s my review. I might catch Kill Bill V. 2 if it comes on Starz or someone else rents it. Other then that, don’t bet on it. If it’s similar to this, with its pointless thoughts and…points, forget about a 5 star review. Those are hard now a days…especially when people learn about the word hype.

Look out for Spoilers!

Paycheck (http://imdb.com/title/tt0338337/)

Rating movies is like watching a car accident of any degree. You have the bumper to bumper, which resembles the pretty damn good movies. After that, you have the hits over 40 miles per hour, but they still don’t do enough to the car or the people. Those kinds of accidents resemble fairly good movies, but they could have been produced a lot better. Then you have the car accidents that involve ambulances, fire trucks, tons of cops, and casualties. These kinds of accidents are related with crap movies; kinds that use string to hold up signs for takes and what not.

Paycheck was a bumper to bumper. Actually, I take that back. It wasn’t even an accident. It was more of a, “Whoops! It’s just a small scratch; here’s my card. Call me and I’ll get it fixed. Thanks.” In other words, for the people that can’t comprehend my words (not many can), it was that damn good.

Ben Affleck. When people think of this man they think of a good body, hardcore cologne, lots of money, and of course good looks. Well, I’ve slowly started to realize this. Good acting, he looks good with an after-shave, and he looks pretty nerdy with glasses on. Now don’t worry you fashion experts, it was needed in this movie.

Imagine working as hard as you possibly can. Surpassing most boundaries people have set. Surpassing things people dare to imagine. Then as soon as it’s all over, said and done…it’s all erased. Your memory is taken away like a kid taking candy from a baby. Easy as that, and that’s it. Soon enough, your confused expression is changed into a gleeful smile with a big, fat, healthy paycheck.

Now take yourself out of this position and shove Michael Jennings in there. I know you can act, but we have to give this to Michael for now. In this movie, Michael is a reverse engineer (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=reverse%20engineering). Not familiar with the word? Neither am I, nor am I after reading the definition, but I’ll continue on.

Now imagine that a career revolves around working, getting everything erased, and then getting paid. Sounds good? Well, I think it absolutely sucks, but Michael Jennings takes up this life and continues with it. He shows no doubt as he smiles, gets paid, and goes home after he’s done working.

Now when I talk about working and getting your memory erased, I am talking long term memory. Do not get it confused with day to day activities, because that would be ridiculous, and how could anyone get any work done, correct?

Michael has a couple of friends, and they’re those beneficiary kind. No, not the sexual kind…but the ones that will benefit you with high class, luxury, and happiness. James Rethrick owns, what seemed to me, a very big cooperation that deals with making life and earth better. Yeah, you think he’s a Good Samaritan now.

Michael is given a new job, and this time it involves a lot of money. James is the one paying him, and them two being buddies, Michael agrees…but there is one catch. Three years of Michael’s life will be erased, but in return he will be “made”. In other words, he’ll have just about everything he can possibly get his hands on. Does Michael accept? Hell yeah he accepts. He doesn’t have a care in the world at the moment, but as you might watch his life is slowly changing direction.

Right before your eyes, you see a big blinding light and it’s all over. You’re in Michael’s shoes. You’re memory has been erased. You have no idea what has happened in the last three years. You feel like you’ve been a vegetable for the last three years. For Michael, he just shrugs it off and goes home. Checking his account, he can see he has a lot of money in there, so he decides to do some stock options.

As soon as he gets there, he hears dreaded news that’ll even shock you. What is it? Find out, I won’t be telling you. Just let me add that at one point in this movie you’re jaw will drop, weather its physically or mentally. You’ll be asking yourself, in Michael’s position, “What the hell am I supposed to do now?”

Through out the movie, I saw a lack of a character that I thought would bring in a good, solid enforcement for performance. I feel as if Paul Giamatti, whom plays Shorty, should have had a much, bigger role in this movie. He made close to about 20 minutes appearances in this movie, and that’s not enough for him. He could of brought in a better story, with much more suspense.

The movie is loaded with good action, good performance, and a good storyline. The acting is good, but I feel as if they could of devoted more. At most times, you’ll be confused, but the answers will be solved. As for a rating, I give this movie a nice 4 gold stars out of 5. What it lacked was more a jump. A better ending could have been thrown out as well. Even though the movie was beyond realistic, it was pretty damn good.

Mambo Italiano (http://imdb.com/title/tt0330602/)

We all watch movies. Movies with all sorts of different genres. The movies with Freddy, Jason, and Michael. Then we watch the action and thrillers. You know, the ones with Neo and Lara Croft. Honestly, sitting down and watching a movie that contains real life events is pretty hard today. Especially when directors try their best to go into the future or way back into ye olden days. Does any one agree?

Does your family have some sort of a tradition? It’s just that, no one talks about it? It’s so dark that speaking of it will make people cringe? Well Angelo is in the same fix with his family that is if you’ve ever been in it. Imagine growing up as a lot of nothing. Just a kid who went to school, came home, and used his imagination to live the rest of the day, and the same thing happened over and over.

It seems as if you’re being controlled. Politics and parents. Gosh, when will it stop? Angelo truly doesn’t truly figure any of it out until he meets up with an old buddy of his. I mean come on, being an adult that lives with his parents? Tradition or no tradition, it’s lame! Him and his buddy go out…

BOOM! SPRINKLE SPRINKLE! FIREWORKS!

It’s a pretty big surprise, well that is if you haven’t seen the movie. Here, let me put it in sweet, short words. If you’re a down right cold prejudice, don’t even THINK about watching this movie or coming in contact with me. If you’re sensible to life, go ahead and watch this movie. It had it’s hilarious parts and it’s very original endings.

Very short review. I staggered over this one for days trying to think how to write it up…then it came to me. Short and sweet. It's best if you continue watching this movie, and even if you don't like it you have to remember that I'm always right. Good movie; good cast; great storyline.

I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed it a lot. It had its parts and it was pretty nicely put out. Though I do believe Tim Post should be recognized more as an actor…

Fight Club 1999 (http://imdb.com/title/tt0137523/)

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooring. Booooooooooooooooooooooooring. Boooooooooooooooooooooring!

No no no no! Don’t get me wrong this movie was fantastic! I was just trying to put the narrator’s life into one single word. I guess that’s how you can put it as. Now, this review is going to he hard. Mainly on the fact that there –really- isn’t a name for the character that Edward Norton plays in this movie, so I’ll go by what they say and call him the narrator.

Ok, the narrator’s life is boring. I’m sure, hopefully, that you’ve processed that thought by now. I mean, how can people like this even live? Work and that’s it. Nothing more, nothing else. I’m not surprised that move of the things in this movie happened. It was bound to happen, and it slowly did.

Now one of the narrator’s very weird habits is to attend support groups of some kind. From suffering from one disease to another, the narrator is bound to show up. Soon enough he meets a woman just like him. So, of course he confronts hers. What’s that lead? Well, most men are going to say trouble…but I’ll stay on the good side for now.

The narrator “meets” Tyler Durden, and they very slowly hit off from there. That’s how much it pretty much happens. Until one day, there’s a freak accident and the narrator’s apartment goes to ****. So the narrator needs a place to stay and ends up living the soap selling, really ****ed up Tyler Durden! Trust me, you would NEVER give this chance up in a million years. Ever.

The narrator is introduced to a new life suddenly enough. A life full of fighting, broken bones and limbs, and a loss of brain cells with every punch to the brain. Now honestly, you can say to yourself you’ll find this on some wrestling show or some Kung Fu tournament, but this is a movie. Other then that, the movie is really out bursting in some sense. Just listen and it’ll process some thoughts into your head, hopefully.

The acting is terribly good. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton put up quite the performance, and the supporting cast also helps them hold that foundation up as well. The movie is also a bit on the dark side. Color you’d see in a haunted house movie or a serial killer movie, but it actually fit this movie quite well. Some parts of the movie are down right hilarious and you can actually learn a thing or two. (You learn something about movies being played in the movie theatres. Ever since then, I watch out for it and always have to poke someone and say, “Did you see that?”)

Even if you took the movie, butchered it up and cut it into all sorts of pieces it would still be great. The movie shows a strong sense of “relationship” between protagonist and antagonist. Especially around the ending when the narrator starts to realize what the hell is going on. Also, it’s hard to pick out the bad or evil guy in this movie. You just have to watch and let it set in.

All together, I have to give this movie a hard, solid 5 out of 5 stars? Why? Because Edward Norton lights it up, once again. Brad Pitt throws in his efforts and the storyline of the movie is funny, dramatic, and right down original. Sure it’s been 5 years since they movie has been made, but its still making people talk.

No problem. Can someone recommend movies that haven't seen and might want to see or something to that degree?
