The Hollywood Stock Exchange (HSX)

I was wondering, do any of you MoFos play the Hollywood Stock Exchange (http://www.hsx.com/) ??

If so, how are you doing?

I originally signed up a few years ago, I believe, and bought some stock in The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (among others) as well as a bit in Hayden Christiansen and Viggo Mortenson. Then, I forgot about it until just a couple of months ago. Needless to say, Viggo's stock's was a lot higher than when I'd first signed up.

I'm doing pretty well, I suppose. My net worth's nearing $6 million, even though I've only been playing regularly for awhile. I bought the max (10,000) on Shrek 2's Blockbuster Warrant at an average of $46 per share; it's up to $182. I've made about $1.3 million on that alone.

It's pretty fun. Still trying to find the right balance between short and long-term investments. Anyone can buy Star Wars: Episode III a year in advance and make a few hundred thousand, if not more. The real game is in Puts, Calls, and Blockbuster Warrants.

Oh. Yeah, that's true. It's gone up since, though. Getting in early on the vastly undervalued Shrek 2 Blockbuster Warrant's the most profitable thing I've done on the HSX so far.
