I've been looking all over and haven't been able to find an answer. I've heard rumors that Criterion is going to re-release Seven Samurai with a better transfer and improved subtitles. Does anybody know if this is true and if so when it'll come out? I went to Criterion's website and asked that Mulvaney guy, but I never got a response. I really wanna pick this up, but I don't wanna plop down the $40 if a new release is on the horizon.
