I know there's a Japanese import premium box set of the Kill Bill movies that are like gold dust and fetching big bucks on ebay

I've read that as many as 3-4 different editions may be coming out. First, a Special Edition of Vol.1 and 2 individually, a Box set w/ extras disc to come out around Christmas, and finally a Special Edition in which the two are recut together, and of course more extras. All of this of course doesn't bring into account the aforementioned Japanese Edition, which I belive has an even different cut of the two films.

I read this a couple months back so things may have changed. I presonally suspect the individual SE's may be scrapped.
