way back in 1983 nick cave, lydia lunch, clint ruin[aka jim thirwell/foetus], and marc almond [soft cell] toured together as the immaculative consumptive. i think that would have been a pretty interesting lineup to see, even if i've never been that wild about cave or lunch, and almond's later solo stuff veers a little too far into vegas/burlesque for me.

~cave + screaming jay hawkins was another one that i would have liked to have seen.

Pidzilla, great list. But John Bonham wasn't in a glam rock band and James Hetfield doesn't play in a punk band. I was just wondering why these two artists were put in these categories. Or is it just personal taste? or. . .something

Yeah well, I know, but I didn't know where else to put Bonham and I couldn't leave him out since he is one of my absolute favourite drummers.

About Hetfield, I don't know... Metallica was influenced by a lot of punk and I know Hetfield loves Danzig and Misfits. I think they might do cool things together. Murph (Dinosaur Jr and occasionally Lemonheads) isn't really a punk drummer either, but at the same time, he is... kind of.. you know...

Cool lists overall, guys! :)
