Where do you get your laughter from?

Besides stand-up, which is a huge love of mine. I notice that there's a lot of funny comments on YouTube videos and/or message boards.

Then there's people in my "real-life" who crack me up.

There's also a political show that cracks me up (sometimes for the wrong reasons), but I know politics and movies don't mix well.

For me it's different ends of the spectrum - I enjoy the really obscure, silly and non-sensical, but I can also go off on the very subtle, witty, clever, sardonic and sarcastic.

Stand up comedians: I like Jim Gaffigan, Steven Wright & Demetri Martin - there are many others, but I consider these guys to be extremely funny while still keeping it clean enough to watch with a general audience.

TV - Don't know where to start but:
The Honeymooners
Monty Python
SNL (in the 70's)
Red Dwarf
SCTV
The Simpsons
MST 3000
Get A Life
Seinfeld
South Park
King of the Hill
The Office

For movies, the choices are too far ranging to try to narrow it down to just a few.
Some genres I like are Marx Brothers movies, Jerry Lewis movies, Woody Allen movies, Mel Brooks movies, Monty Python movies, Natl Lampoon Vacation movies, Christopher Guest mockumentaries, Airplane! type movies (The Big Bus, Top Secret), any movies that satirize or lampoon other movies, and so many more.

I downloaded a picture from Pinterest a while back, and they've been sending me links to funny pictures and images of funny sayings since then. Some of them are very funny.

Pretty much anything Tim Robinson does, especially:

-Documentary Now episode "Any Given Sunday Afternoon"
-His sketch show I Think You Should Leave

He has a movie coming out in May called Friendship with Paul Rudd. Early reviews are very good, so it's my most anticipated movie right now.

A few sketches from I Think You Should Leave are on YouTube:
