I haven't seen any films by this director, Robert B. Sinclair. He was tragically killed by a prowler at the age of 64.

No big names. I recognize character actor Adolphe Menjou

Dame is a fun word. We should bring it back.

Suggested uses:
"I saw a good looking dame walking down the street"
"The dame called me back"
"My neighbour is a nice dame."

The lead character's name is Steve. I don't trust characters named Steve.

Dennis O'Keefe was also in that one, but the two films are unrelated.

This film was based on the long-running and popular radio series, also called Mr. District Attorney.

A 28 year age difference. A standard of film noir

This was okay. Decent performances, but the story wasn't that interesting. A couple effective moments. 6/10

Very pro forma and somewhat corny. People dropping dead all around. Incorporates a lot of fim noir themes in one movie - organized crime, younger woman/older man, crusading DA. femme fatale and a murder mystery. Tries to do way too much for such a small film. 5.5/10
