I saw a fun commercial for Amazon a couple of days ago with houses decorated with Christmas lights. I can't find a video of it online, but it's basically similar to this video:

I saw a fun commercial for Amazon a couple of days ago with houses decorated with Christmas lights...There is a neighborhood in Brooklyn, Dyker Heights, that is famous for its Christmas lights. It's pretty spectacular -

I just mapped it out on Google, and it looks like it's near the Verrazzano Bridge, which is only about 45 minutes from here. Hubby and I might have to take a road trip one night to check it out.

In the other direction, there's a house in Farmingdale, NY, (on Long Island), with a 42-foot tall inflatable Santa Claus.

We drove past there last Saturday, but it was too early in the day so it wasn't inflated yet. We're going to drive by again this weekend to try to see it.
