I have recently expanded my collection of DVDs to almost 100...in the collection are some of the best DVD's when it comes to Special Features.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Superman -- don't bother with II, III, and IV
Unbreakable
Toy Story Ultimate Edition(3 Disc)
Bugs Life (2 Disc)
Tarzan (" " )
Emperor's New Groove (2 Disc)
Dinosaur (2 Disc)

Can ya get the hint I like the Collector's Edition's?

Anyways, these are some of the must's for any DVD collector..Not to mention Manhunter and Silence of the Lambs..although I don't own either one I have seen the 2 Disc of Manhunter and it's very nice, as is Silence of the Lambs(Single Disc). With Hannibal out next month look for a Collectors Edition of all three movies sometime soon(at least you would hope so).

Most of these movies aren't ridicously priced..unless you venture into Camelot, or Sam Goody, or Suncoast.

Anyways, hope this helps some of you steer clear of the bad ones and go for the sure fires!!

C'mon guys -- let's condense those posts. :) Anyway, I consider Unbreakable to be a must-have DVD. The deleted scenes are VERY interesting, and the general feel of the DVD is well put together.

The Fight Club DVD is the best one ever made. It's got it all.

No way, T2 is the king. It's got three versions of the film and over ,way over , 10 hours of extras and more. I one time compared the two and Fight Club came no where close.

Sorry all, but if you are a Rocky Fan you can't help but give it up for the 25th Anniversary DVD. It has absolutely everything a fan could want... if are not a fan of the movie though, well, then you might not care for the DVD nearly as much :)

I too am a Rocky fan to the core and do own the DVD. I would like to own the Box set though of all Rocky films.

Well you have to think about when Spielberg re-released Close Encounters on VHS...he re-released the Indiana Jones Trilogy soon after that...so look for them to be out on DVD soon. As for Back to the Future...no word yet.

The MAGNOLIA DVD is excellent. It has a full-length interview/show-around with PT Anderson. It's fantastic. And so is the movie!

Kubrick's Spartacus (Criterion Collection)
Fincher's SE7EN
Spielberg's Jaws
Otomo's Akira
Reitman's Ghostbusters
Lean's The Bridge on the River Kwai
McTiernan's Die Hard
