This is just straight up pathological.

I wasnt a fan of Whitney Houston. Every song she would wail. I called it the "Whitney Wail". Totally destroys whatever rhythym or pacing the song has with this nonsensical bellering begging "look how great my voice is". Now everybodys doing it, and she started it.

She made the rhythm.
She couldn't write songs, but she was a genius with arrangements.
The song arrangements were better during live concerts than they were in the studio, because she had more opportunity to put her mark on them.
She's also a far better dancer than people give her credit for btw.
Her concerts were just complete parties with everyone having a great time.
Of course her voice was a huge part of the show, it's probably the greatest singing voice there's ever been.
But she always had the best musicians and best backing singers, and gave them all attention during her concerts, for instance giving little solos to her backing singers. She didn't made it all about her at all. Throughout this concert she's talking about Africa, and her love for over people, and encouraging people to have faith in love and faith in Jesus and God.
It's a great show, and incredible that it's all been released on youtube on the day of the album release.
