It's coming back in a new way. Thanks to the streaming age, more people are starting to check out experimental acts like Black Country New Road and Squid, both amazing bands.

And I thank Kanye for using a King Crimson sample in Power.

It's not just rock, it's ALL bands.

This week’s UK Top 40 singles chart only have four bands in the top 40. They are Coldplay (2 songs), Linkin Park (2 songs), Crowded House (1 80's song) and...Milli Vanilli (1 80's song!)

I'm sure it's a similar story in North America and elsewhere.

Crowded House and Milli Vanilli are probably charting due to a film or TV show. Coldplay and Linkin Park both have new material but were both formed in the 1990's.

It's getting to the point where I'm even starting to miss those lame boy and girl pop bands that Simon Cowell would churn out! :D
