Well, regionally they are. It was their only hit here in the U.S. Hope it still qualifies. There is no completely agreed upon metric for what constitutes a one-hit wonder. Generally, I think the Billboard Hot 100 (the main US chart) is used. Some may be purists about it (must have only 1 Top 40), while others may allow another as long as the band/person is really only widely known for a single song. And it doesn't seem right to call a popular band of many years like the Grateful Dead a one-hit wonder, though in fact they only appeared in the Top 40 once.

that's some canadian new wave
that's the only hit she had?Shirley had a relatively small but very loyal following in America (I assume Canada as well). I'm not sure why she was never bigger here. Probably was too traditional pop at a time when tastes were getting more rock and roll. She had a niche audience here. Goldfinger her only Hot 100 hit (#8), plus a couple Top Tens on the Adult Contemporary chart in a 60+ year career. But she is a legend in the UK, with more charting singles of course..

I listened to this song a lot in college. It just sounds like nostalgia, you know?It really is a beautiful and wistful ode to better times. I can relate, there was a day during the pandemic when I was working from home where I played it over and over again and couldn't get enough.

This isn't a hit (thus not a wonder)... People who remember their TV show, know that Sha-Na-Na was basically a cover band that brought doo-wop music to a 1970's generation (they also played at Woodstock in 1969!). They had a small number of their own songs (usually on the B sides of their albums). I believe this is one of them.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlU0AekwFHE
nyctc7 Nazareth also had this tune. I always felt Stone Cold Steve Austin should have came out to the ring with it.
https://youtu.be/7KHqU7l4NIk?feature=shared
Nazareth also had this tune. I always felt Stone Cold Steve Austin should have came out to the ring with it."Now you're messin' with a son of bitch" is a very memorable lyric (and hook). This one got (and gets) a lot of airplay (IIRC) so I'm really surprised it apparently didn't chart in the US or the UK.

Crusadia I was rather late to the DSB party. Became a fan in the early 2000s. Saw her live once, at a 2010 benefit at Carnegie Hall. She did have a couple Top Tens on the Adult Contemporary chart, one a Beatles cover as you predicted (Something) and also Never, Never, Never.

There was another Yello song which hit big here in the UK, which I'll post. However, when looking for where this charted over here, it appears that it didn't. Not only that, but it only got to #51 in the US (which is their biggest hit Stateside but I'd say isn't a hit) so it's pretty much only the 80's movies it was in (Ferris Bueller being the main one) which propelled it to the song we all know.
This, however, got to #7 in the UK and is their only big hit here. They did get to #23 with Of Course I'm Lying, but I don't remember that.
