I was wondering first about Rebel Without a Cause (1955)?

Interesting.

It's one I'm conflicted on.

Dean is sensational I think.

It looks stunning. Like, up with any colour film in the 20th century.

And is super cool in some ways.

But I also think bits of it are daft as a brush.

So I'd always ruled it out of my top 150 or so, but just reviewing it again am having second thoughts.
