It's kind of weird that I haven't done this show yet, but I definitely needed something on the lighter side after the blood and insanity of Dexter. Recently I saw a couple of You Tube videos and and a very sad documentary called The Curse of Glee which focused on the tragedy that seemed to follow the show and realized that there is a lot of stuff I missed during the show's primetime run and other stuff that I will be looking at from a very fresh set of eyes having learned so much about the cast and the show since its cancellation, so like it or not, I will be beginning my episode by episode deep dive into Glee.

Season One, Ep 1 "You think this is hard, try being waterboarded that's hard." How nice of the jocks to let Kurt remove his Marc Jacobs before tossing him in the dumpster. Stephen Tobolowsky is so funny as the original head of the glee club. "You resentment is delicious." I missed before that Emma Pillsbury was a germaphobe. That Amber Riley has one helluva set of pipes. Was Chris Colfer being seriously sharp at the end of "Mr. Cellophane" on purpose? Loved Rachel being slushied right after bragging about being a star. Quinn's response to Rachel's video was funny. Having Artie do "Sit Down You're Rockin the Boat” seemed odd. Rachel thinks glee club is going to make people stop hating her? "I can't keep wasting my time with glee." They never really explain why Schuester is so obsessed with glee club. "Medical marijuana...it's genius!" "You are the one coaching those tone deaf acne factories." A football player got an eyebrow shaved because he watches Grey's Anatomy? Loved that version of "A Fifth of Beethoven" playing in the background? Wait a minute...Schuster blackmailed Finn into joining glee club? Liked Finn and Rachel doing "You're the One That I Want", but Mercedes is right, she is no background singer. Terri Schuester us nuts. Loved that arrangement of the Austin Powers theme. Ken got his revenge on Emma, didn't he? Could Rachel be more full of herself? Quinn is the president of the celibacy club? Seriously? Half of the dancers onstage as Vocal Adrenaline weren't even moving their lips on "Rehab." "Chicks don't have prostates...I looked it up." Why do I have a feeling that Terri isn't really pregnant? He's leaving glee because Terri is pregnant? Emma drawing a heart around Will's face while he was singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane" was kind of corny. I cannot believe they are going to do this to Artie. I didn't remember Puck starting off on this show being such a jerk. "Are you quitting to join Homo Explosion?" The chemistry between Will and Emma is a little sugary for my tastes. I can see why "Don't Stop Believin" became the show's anthem for the first season.

Season One, Ep 2. Finn doesn't know what the word chivalrous means? Loved when Kurt told the jocks that one day they will all work for him. "I don't know if there's anyone who's going to want to swim over to your misfit toys." "I know you're used to being the cock of the walk around here." Can't believe they let Rachel be slushed after her speech to Quinn. Dianna Aragon (Quinn) is so beautiful. "Le Freak" really is terrible. I liked the actress who played Terri's sister. "We absolutely can't afford the grand foyer and the sun nook." Will's narration about keeping Terri happy just doesn't match his actions. Matthew Morrison doing Kanye? I don't think so. Loved Emma in the car crying to Eric Carmen. "Gay parents encourage rebellion, there's studies on this." Jane Lynch is SO funny as Sue Sylvester. Two episodes in and I'm already hating Terri Schuester. m Are we supposed to believe that all of the female members of the celibacy club are Cheerios? "Are you kidding, those skirts are crunchy toast!" "If the balloon pops, the noise makes the angels cry." I see where they're going with Will and Emma, but I think they are so boring together, their scenes are akin to watching paint dry. Okay, I can't lie that performance of "Push It" had me on the floor. "My first thought was that your students be put into foster care." I loved Ken presenting his case to Emma. Really loving Corey Monteith's "Aw shucks" quality. He could have been really something if he had lived. "I don't want my baby to grow an extra arm because I lived in squalor and had extra stress." The Cheerios take on "Say a Little Prayer" was great. I love Sue comparing herself to Quinn. I have a feeling Terri is not going to take not being pregnant at face value. Not the least bit surprised Terri lied to Will. Rachel looked genuinely offended when Will said she wasn't always going to be the star. Lea Michele's finals solo was spectacular

Season One, Ep 3. Victor Garber and Debra Monk playing Will's parents, didn't remember that. Why is Rachel so intimidated by Quinn and Santana? Sandy really shouldn't be allowed on the campus at all, which I think would be what would happen IRL. That scene of the male faculty members eating cake and singing "For he's a jolly good fellow" in 4 part harmony was pointless. Just saw John Lloyd Young's name in the credits...he played Frank Valli in the stage and film versions of Jersey Boys. "Do you see anyone else in here with a plate of I'm sorry cookies?" How does hiring this Dakota guy make Will a hero? If Rachel is trying to push Finn away, she's doing a great job. "I want my full budget restored....I need a fog machine." Love that pirate jacket Kurt was wearing in that scene with Mercedes. Young is playing one of the Acafellas. Their take on "Poison" was kind of fun, even though Ken looked like he was dubbed. "And if he were here right now, I'd club you to death with his critic's choice award." Are we supposed to believe that Sandy is BFF's with Josh Groban? The choreography for Vocal Adrenaline's number was spectacular but in a realistic context, there's no way they could provide those vocals and dance like that at the same time. So this is the only episode John Lloyd Young appears in. Every time we get a scene with Will and Emma, I get a little sleepy. There's more chemistry between Will and Finn. Didn't realize Puck started out in Acafellas. I really have a hard time swallowing Mercedes thinking Kurt is straight. I can understand her knowing he's gay, but would rather hang with him than be alone. She realizes he's not gay. That scene with Sue and Emma was hysterical. They made us wait three episodes for Aber Riley's first solo but it was worth the wait. The casting of Dakota the choreographer is quite questionable. "Why don't you get some lotion for those knuckles you're dragging on the ground?" "My point is, you're fired...and I'm taller than you." "I Wanna Sex You Up" was the first musical moment for Matthew Morrison that has actually worked. How does Terri know about Emma? That look she gave Emma during the concert implies that. Josh Groban referred to himself as a "pop star"? Does Kurt think no one knows he's gay just because he hasn't told anyone? "That's the smell of failure...and it's stinking up my office."

Season One, Ep 4. Kurt doing Beyonce was great but Chris Colfer should have been doing his own singing. Loved Mike O'Malley's first appearance as Kurt's dad. . OK, this episode just stopped in the middle of tape saying it was unavailable and as i checked other websites, I learned that, for some reason, this episode is unavailable in its entirety, so I will be moving on to:

Season One, Ep 5. OK, thank God, this ep had a recap that revealed that Quinn is pregnant and that Terri has decided to continue to fake her pregnancy. Rachel went somewhere during ep 4 but it wasn't mentioned in the recap. Finn thinks he's the father of Quinn's baby, but for some reason, I recall Puck being the father. How can being in glee club get a student a college scholarship? "Do the right thing, all the great actresses take their clothes off." Why is Finn coming on so strong with Rachel now, just to get her back in glee club? Kristen Chenoweth as April Rhodes...awesome! Loved the reveal that April isn't the person she was pretending to be. Will's pretending to want to help April, but he's coming off very self-serving from this viewpoint. The Kristen/Lea mashup on "Maybe This Time" was incredible. Did April have sex with Puck? OK, the Cabaret scene that Finn and Rachel were rehearsing was in the movie, not in the play. Everyone calling April old got tired very quickly. Chris Colfer's drunk moment with Emma was funny as hell. Emma made a valid point with Will regarding his "helping" April. Loved April and Rachel in the ladies' room. Morrison and Chenoweth nailed "Alone", they should have done the whole number. Is Finn using Rachel's attraction to him to get her back into glee? He romanced Rachel for a scholarship? On the other hand, I still don't think Finn is the father of Quinn's baby. Loved those cowboy costumes with the black shirts. Was this Harry Shum Jr's first appearance? Rachel explaining what an understudy is? Seriously? The Queen finale was solid.

Season 1, Ep 6. I had a feeling Puck was the father of Quinn's baby. "You've got a little mustard in your cute Kirk Douglas chin dimple." "Every week I pick someone at random...I kick 'em out." Kurt looked offended to be in the boys' group. Loved Sue noticing Quinn's quivering knee. Those Cheerios formations could easily make Quinn lose that baby that Terri wants so badly. Sue totally worked Terri regarding Will and Emma. Wow, Sue knew exactly what to tell Terri. Finn's monologue sounded a lot like what Corey was going through when he realized fame wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I love the way all the girls have learned to look through Rachel. Terri wouldn't try anything with Finn, would she? Yuk. Those pills are going to get Finn in serious trouble. "Let's do the number and then let's build a house for Habitat for Humanity." I just LOVE Harry Shum Jr. Quinn and Rachel reminded me of Rizzo and Patty Simcox in Grease. "I'm not built for working five days a week.".
I feel kind of bad for Ken, he seems genuinely in love with Emma. How long can Terri get away with giving over the counter meds to students? Yeah, Terri's a bit cray cray. Ken's marriage proposal to Emma was so sweet. I liked the boys better. I kind of wanted to slap Emma when she asked Will if he knew of any reason why She shouldn't accept Ken's proposal. Jessalyn Gilsig nailed that scene with Jayma Mays. How do Terri and Quinn plan to pull this off? Terri's got a lot of nerve, she should be paying Quinn whatever she wants. Loved Emma's terms for marrying Ken. Damn, Howard got arrested for what Terri did. "Every time I start a fire in my life, you find a way to burn down the forest." You just knew Sue was going to be co-leader of the glee club..

Season One, Ep 7 That opening scene with Sue and Will was kind of stupid. Look at us, we're even fighting in our voiceovers." What did Rachel mean by ":Crunk Rock". I was surprised that the doctor told Quinn the sex of the baby without asking her if she wanted to know. "How am I supposed to take care of a real person, my mom won't let me have fish." Terri's sister kills me. This guy actually asked for a pair of Rachel's panties? What a pervert. Amber nailed that "Hater" number. "Oh hey Buddy, I thought I smelled failure." Figgins is probably the worst TV school principal. "Drizzle" is a stupid baby name. I liked "No Air." Quinn's "You Keep Me Hangin' On" featured great choreography and editing. Terri is right...Will cares more about the kids than his marriage. He sure wants that baby that doesn't exist though. What s Sue up to stepping down? Can't believe Sue called out Quinn in front of the glee club? What a bitch. Can't believe Sue thinks Quinn would come to her about being pregnant.

Season One, Ep 8. I guess this episode marked the first appearance of Carofsky. He was pretty harsh with Finn and Quinn. Emma's not telling her own mother that she's getting married? Seriously? Ken and Emma arguing over the song for their first dance is kind of stupid. Quinn is so oblivious that she thinks she and Finn are a couple because she's pregnant. When are TPTB going to inform Matthew Morrison that he's not black? Will Schuester break dancing? Really? What's the deal with that black guy in the glee club who never has any lines or vocal solos? Puck should have done "Bust a Move." Why would Quinn and Finn go to Emma on advice on how to be cool? That was a lame Emma showing up wearing her wedding dress to rehearse the dance. "The Thong Song" was just embarrassing. This whole glee club is gay thing just feels terribly dated to me. Was that Gina Hecht playing Puck's mother? "Rachel was a hot Jew and the good lord wanted me to get into her pants." I'm having a hard time buying Puck's sudden obsession with Rachel. OK, they have Matthew Morrison rapping and Mark Salling doing Neil Diamond? Salling's take on "Sweet Caroline" was surprisingly bland. Are we supposed to believe that Finn didn't realize he and Quinn were about to be slushied? "I, for one, think there is no place for intimacy in marriage." Will and Sue dancing to Benny Goodman, what was that all about? It was nice to see Will admit that he might be leading Emma on. Didn't see Puck getting slushied coming. "Damn, I feel such like a bad Jew." All the guys except Fimn showed up for Glee? Seriously? Kurt and the slushee seemed to be the beginning of Kurt's crush on Finn. It was nice to see Sue brought down a peg. She looked great in that zoot suit though. "I'm kind of a jerk and I can't even hold onto a chick like you? No offense." That scene with Finn and Ken was al little convenient.

Season One, Ep 9. Love Charlotte Ross, who's playing Quinn's mother. Don't get what makes Sue qualified to be a judge at Sectionals. How dare Quinn treat Finn like that when he's not even the father? Liked Sue taking Jacob's tape recorder. There's no way to get Artie on a regular bus? Loved Kurt's excitement about "Defying Gravity." Kevin McHale's voice is so underrated. "You're irritating most of the time but don't take that personally." I didn't realize that Puck knows Qunn's baby is his. "At least you don't have to worry about me getting someone pregnant." I really don't like the way Kurt sometimes talks over his father's head and then gets upset when Burt doesn't understand. Why do I have a feeling that Kurt is going to nail this song but it's still going to Rachel? "Six months ago I could sold 50 of these out of fear alone." I think I have to agree with Puck. Finn isn't putting a lot of effort into supporting this baby, even if it isn't his. Can't believe what Artie said to Tina. Chris Colfer's voice is the eighth wonder of the world. Mike O'Malley was so good in that scene with Kurt after the phone call. Sue auditioned for Baywatch? Hate what they did to Kurt during the "Diva Off". Cannot believe Will can't see what's going on with Sue and Becky? Love this side of Sue. Am I the only one who never really noticed that Tina has a stutter? Definitely understand Artie's anger with Tina? Kurt messed up the note on purpose? don't understand why he would do that. That final scene with Kurt and his dad was lovely. Liked "Rollin on the River"...didn't see this the first time I watched the show. Amber should have been singing the lead on it though.

Season One, Ep 10. Loved Kurt's expression when he found out Fimnn picked his name. "I love the dqys that I don't wear underwear...full commando." Loved Will running from Rachel during "Endless Love." Rachel was right...Matthew Morrison does have pretty eyes. OK< are we supposed to believe that Rachel is now in love with Will after singing one song with him? Quinn's mom still doesn't know she's pregnant? Gregg Henry is playing Quinn's dad? I love him. What is it with Rachel? Does she really think giving Will gifts is appropriate? Sarah Drew was appropriately creepy as Suzy Pepper. Kurt really can't see how awkward singing to him might be for Finn? "I'll Stand by You" was a perfect vocal fit for Corey Monteith. Finn's mom took the news of Quinn's pregnanc better than I thought she would. I hate that Kurt is actually trying to "turn" Finn. Kurt thinks he's helping Finn but he is heading toward some serious heartbreak. That "Young Girl"/"Don't Stand" mashup didn't really work for me. I didn't realize Suzy was still a student at the school. Is Finn so thick he doesn't see Kurt has a crush on him? Not surprised Terri found a way to make Rachel's crush work to her advantage. Emma and Rachel looked ridiculous next t each other panting like that. Will actually has no business getting angry with Terri; he's done close to nothing to discourage Rachel. She looked crushed when Will turned off her CD. Can't believe Puck told Mercedes. I do not believe Finn actually sang "Having My Baby" to Quinn with her parents sitting right there. At leas her dad figured it out. Gregg Henry nailed that monologue about Quinn as a baby. Her mopm knew and pretended not to? What a bitch. Her parents just walked away from her. I love that Rachel doesn't even consider Terri an issue. Does she think Terri's just going to step aside? Kurt has to know thqat singing that song to Finn is all kinds of wrong. The bridge on "Lean On Me" sounded like a hundred voices.

Season ONe, Ep 11. Didn't notice until this episode began but Sue didn't appear in the previous episode at all. Jane Addams is a female detention center? A detention center with a glee club? Seriously? This Jand Addams group is another one that really isn't singing. Will thinks wigs is going to give his club an edge? I think Quinn doesn't want to give the baby to Terri and her nitsy sister. Now she's re-thinking Puck? Why does Quinn want to make over Rachel? Don't they all wear the same costumes for competitions? Can't wait for Terri to get busted. DIdn't realize Kurt hated Rachel so much. "What did Sandy have to do to hook Danny Zuko? She had to ditch the poodle skirt and slip on the cat suit." A deaf glee club? That's weird. Wait a minute, they're just now thinking of paying Quinn, I thought that's how they convinced her in the first place. Lea wore that cat suit. Loved Finn calling Rachel a sad clown hooker. Quinn singing "Papa Dn't Preach" to those kids was kind if creepy. "Crazy in Love and "Hair" was another really weird mashup. I did like "Imagine" though. Finn will never be the same when he learns the truth about the baby. Jenna Ushkovitz has such a pretty voice she should have moe solos.

Season One, Ep 12. Loved Ken talking about the VFW Lodge like it was The Plaza Hotel. "Strangle it didn't make me feel more American." Rachel; and the Black Student Union...OMG. "I might not be head cheerleader anymore, but I still am on the inside." Is Will really so thick that he doesn't understand why the kids don't want to be in the yearbook? How arrogant of Will to think Ken scheduled his wedding the same day as the sectionals. Rachel and Brittany...that was funny. Loved Johnn Ross Bowie as the photographer. Really liked the "Jump" number on the matresses. Matthew Morrison and Jessalyn Gilsig played the hell ouit of that scene where Will finally learned what Terri was doing. Quinn really got to Sue, we don't see too many people do that. Will is such an idiot coming to Emma about advice on his marriage, does he really think he's going to get objective advice from her?

Season One, Ep 13. Amber Riley's take on And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going has been the musical highlight of this show thus far even if they did edit the song, they should have let her do the whole thing. Why does Emma keep lying to Will about everything going on with Ken. Who does Rachel think she is telling Finn the truth about the baby? Finn's reaction was a lot stronger than I thought it was going to be. I do remember Lea's take on "Don't Rain On my Parade" and thinking, well maybe we can finally get a Broadway revival of Funny Girl. Wow, Ken left Emma at the altar? Did not see that coming. I don't know what Will expected from Emma informing her that he had left Terri? Nice to finally see Sue suffer some consequences for her actions.

Season One, Ep 14. It's time to get rid of that creepy Jacob who's stalking Rachel. I can't believe these kids think everything that they go through at school was going to change because they won Sectionals. Finn and Puck are both on the basketball team too? Is that a thing, students playing more than one sport? The same coach coaching different sports? That's a thing too? If it ever came to light, Sue drugging Figgis would send her to jail. But you know she won't get caught because her presence keeps the conflict going that the show really needs. "Right now you've got enough product in your hair to season a wok." Jane Lynch was fantastic in that scene with Brittany and Santana. "I think I'm dating Rachel, at least she sure thinks I am." Corey Monteith is no Jim Morrison. I loved Brittany and Santana walking up to Finn to ask him for a date while holding hands. The ego on Rachel is off the charts. The first appearance of Jonathan Groff...loved him in Hamilton. His duet with Rachel was surprisingly good. I thought vocal powerhouses like Lea and Jonathan would try to out sing each other but they don't. I lost it when Brittany said there was a mouse in her food. This whole thing with Finn, Brittany, and Santana is making Finn look like a moron. Emma is a virgin, I'm shocked. Terri liked Jerry Bruckheimer movies, yeah OK. "I am engorged with venom and triumph." Vocal Adrenaline nailed "Highway to Hell." One minute he's confessing his love to Emma and the next he's climbing all over Idina Menzel. There is some chemistry between Matthew and Menzel. I have to admit I understand the club's concern about Rachel and Jesse. The Old Maids Club...that is classic Sue, but why would these girls agree to such a club? Loved the Emma/Terri encounter. "Don't bother sleeping with my husband tonight, you're already screwed." Still not clear about Jessie's intentions. OK, it's clear now.

Season One, Ep 15. It's the Madonna episode. Looking forward to re-watching this one. It seems kind of weird that Sue would be pegged as the character on this show who worships the ground that Madonna walks on. "Do you not understand the blackmail process and how it works?" Madonna stole a line from Sue, yet Sue worshipped her as a little girl? Really? "Just do what I do? Never say no." Not really feeling Tina and Artie as a couple. Will offering to help Emma to advise the female students about sex is just weird. Didn't really understand the point of stilts in the "And I Feel Like Home." Why is Puck fighting Madonna so hard? Loved the staging and camerawork on "Express Yourself." "I need a younger, inferior man." Loved Santana trying to seduce Finn. Little disappointed that "Burning Up" was only used as background music, I love that song. Really liked the mash up of "Borderline" and "Open Your Heart". "Madonna belongs to me"...did Sue really say that? "Maybe you should try a new setting on your flobee." Sue cracks me up rewriting her history to fit Madonna's. Kurt and Mercedes agreeing to help Sue has disaster written all over it. Jonathan Groff is so freaking sexy, but there's nothing about him that says heterosexual, making this so called romance with Rachel hard to believe. Emma came onto Will? seriously? Jane Lynch nailed "Vogue" with the aid of some excellent editing. The three couples morphing into "Like a Virgin" was brilliant. Loved Sue calling Kurt and Mercedes Whoopi and Don Knotts. Who does Sue think she is demanding that certain kids be kicked out of school? "Just come out so we can talk...or sing about it." Loved the reveal that "Like a Virgin" was a fantasy. Are we really supposed to believe that jessie left Vocal Adrenaline for Rachel? I understand how Kurt and Mercedes feel. Liked that song I've never heard before that the guys sang around the piano. Sing off in the parking lot? Seriously? For some reason Lea's version of "Like a Prayer" was pitched way higher than the original, but why? The only singer for whom it was really an advantage was Chris Colfer. Best episode of the show so far.

Season One, Ep 16. "How do you two not have a show on Bravo?" I knew Sue was going to make Mercedes lose weight, though I'm surprised she only requested a 10 pound loss. Why would Sue admit to Will that she's blackmailing Figgis? "I'm pretty sure my cat's been reading my diary." "You were conceived on a pinball machine.' Kristen Chenoweth's back! Really liked her and Matthew's duet "Fire." They sing really well together. I have issues with Chenoweth playing this incredible singer who can't stay sober. She's a little all over the place for my taste, it doesn't fit Chenoweth at all. Why is Mercedes taking this from Sue? She had to have known that Sue's treatment of her was coming. I love Kurt thinking his dad is in love with Finn's mom is going to lead to romance for him with Finn. Chris Colfer's rendition of "A House is not a Home" was gorgeous. Finn has to be television's stupidest character...are we supposed to believe that he doesn't realize Kurt has fallen in love with him? "I just feel better sleeping with someone inside a house." What does that mean? "One Less Bell to Answer" was excellent. Kurt's buying jeans for Finn's mom? That's not weird. :Suddenly I'm not the guy who sat through Riverdance three years in a row?" Kurt's really being too hard on his father. Burt's trying so hard and Kurt just doesn't see it. Mercedes' food fantasy in the cafeteria was hysterical. Why is Quinn being so nice to Mercedes? If he doesn't want to be with her, Will needs to stop advising April about her life. He's not her sponsor. Of course, this is another prime television storyline about alcoholism that doesn't know anything about the disease. I hope Finn and Kurt aren't planning to break up their parents because that never works. Loved Finn's mom putting her husband's ashes in the easy chair. Finn doesn't give a damn what his mother is going through. Who was that actor playing the reporter? Mercedes' speech reminded me of the finale of Revenge of the Nerds and I knew exactly what song she was going to sing. Well, he hasn't gotten any lines or solos, but at least Dijon Talton got a closeup during the song. Did we really need that reporter pumping up Sue's already over inflated ego? Burt's speech to Finn was perfection and was pleased that it shut Finn up. "I hate Duke like I hate the Nazis." Chenoweth looked breathtaking when she was singing "Home." I think my heart skipped a beat when Chenoweth hit that final note on "Home"....damn that woman has a set of pipes.

Season One, Ep 17. Sue made a video herself doing "Physical"? This woman is so full of herself and it's getting old already. "As soon as I figure out the difference between slander and libel, I'm filing a lawsuit." Loved Rachel being t the bottom of that list. "Maybe if we seemed more dangerous, people would stop throwing my glasses down the toilet." "This song should be arrested for the crime of sucking." Oh, God, Matthew rapping again, when are they going to stop the insanity? Liked the choreography though. "That's coffee, it's usually masked by the smell of fear." Molly Shannon was funny. It is great seeing Sue get back some of the way she treats everyone else. "You nearly married a gym teacher who's more gravy than man." Loved Sue calling April a banana magnet. Puck looked really hot in that phantom mask. Jayma Mays was great in that scene in the teachers' lounge, didn't think Emma had it in her. Loved the MC Hammer cover, at least they kept Matthew Morrison out of it. Will trying to get info about the list was kind of silly. Every time Sue writes a sentence, does she always underline the final word of the sentence three times? Cute cameo from Olivia Newton John. Loved when Sue called Kurt Ladyface. LOVED Jane and Olivia's re-do of "Physical.". That "Run Joey Run" video was weird. How was Rachel able to put that video together without the guys realizing what was going on? Jean really brings out the human in Sue. Liked that scene with Will and Quinn. "I have this pathological need to be popular." Lea's vocals on "Total eclipse of the Heart: were great but wasn't really feeling the ballet class motif. Why wasn't Harry in that number?

Season One, Ep 18. Puck's mother washes his hair? Seriously? So Puck has lost his MoJo without his mohawk? Glad to see Mercedes not falling for Puck. "You're top 40 , I'm rhythm and blues." Really don't get Will's assignment, it sounds like the exact opposite of the problem. "Because there's never an excuse for stirrup pants." "Girl, you got more curves than a Nissan cab." Wait a minute, Rachel wasn't doing that on purpose? "So you like showtunes, doesn't mean you're gay, just means you're awful." Mark Salling and Amber Riley nailed "The Lady is a Tramp." Kurt attempting to butch it up in order to gain his father's favor is too funny. "I'm not a box, there are more than four sides to me." Loved Brittany coming on to Kurt. "I'm like Tinker Bell Finn, I need applause to live." Love the note Kurt ;left on the door. The Mercedes/Santana duet was hot. Loved when Santana called Mercedes "Weezy." Chris Colfer's take on "Rose's Turn" was fantastic. That scene with Kurt nd his dad was lovely. Weak musical finale to a pretty solid show, pretty much stolen by Chris Colfer.

Season One, Ep 19. Neil Patrick Harris! I never knew he was on this show. The Doodly Doo Music Revue (LOL). Molly Shannon's cameo was hysterical. I find the analogy of show choir as a disease is a little bothersome to me. Harris' character seems to be a musical reimagining of Alec Baldwin's character in Glengarry Glen Ross. Artie and Tina should have watched In the Gloaming. It's a really good movie. I feel terrible about it, but I'mn having trouble thinking of a major star who is wheelchair-bound. Rachel would be a terrible Dream Laurey. Jonathan Groff would have more chemistry with Mark Salling than he does with Lea Michele. "I sound like somebody put tap shoes on a horse and shot him." "Can't feed a child sheet music Will." Why is Rachel convinced that her mother has to be a legendary Broadway diva? Hopefully, learning who her real mother is might bring Rachel down to earth a bit. Neil's character having a past with Terri, should have seen that coming. "I have box of playbills hidden in my basement...like porn." They could have picked a much more interesting duet for Neil and Matthew than "Piano Man." "It looks like you...I think you're in fifth position." Jessie shouldn't have pressured Rachel into listening to that tape,,,that's something Rachel should do alone. Neil Patrick Harris is so much better than Matthew Morrison. The duet at the audition was better than "Piano Man." Artie bought tap shoes? Seriously? The fantasy number in the mall was fantastic,,,nice to let Kevin McHale out of the chair once in a while. LOVED seeing the Cheerios getting threatened for a change. The idea of Nail Patrick Harris having sex with Jane Lynch makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Whoa, the director of Vocal Adrenaline is Rachel's mom. Okay Rachel's mom is fictional diva, but it might have a humbling thing for Rachel to find that her mom is a regular might have been good for Rachel. I'm curious who initiated that meeting between Artie and Emma. Every piece of music from every Broadway musical? I don't think so. "I've grown weary of insults, Will and they make me want to punch your face." Will giving Brian his part? I'm sorry, no real actor would do that, not in a million years, even if he wants something bigger in return. I'm not buying it, that move just took every bit of credibility from the character of Will Schuster and i will be looking at him through a jaundiced eye from now on. I will never be able to be objective about this character ever again. Besides, what if the director doesn't want Brian, it's not really Will's decision but on any level, it's a stupid storyline movie. And I can think of at least a dozen songs I would love to hear Idina Menzel and Lea Michele duet on besides "I Dreamed a Dream."

Season One, Ep 20. It was weird seeing Tina getting in trouble for her luck because I was just thinking that she never looked hotter. "My parents won't even let me watch Twilight...my mom thinks Kristina Stewart is a bitch." Kurt looks like he's in heaven at the thought of living with Finn and his mom. LOVED that suit Kurt was wearing in that scene. Manwhore Puck doesn't know who Lady GaGa is? How can Vocal Adrenaline sing in those costumes? Idina's "Funny Girl" was fantastic but I don't see what that song has to do with what she was saying to Vocal Adrenaline. I wonder if Idina was ever approached about the Funny Girl revival before Beanie Feldstein and Lea. she'd be a fantastic Fanny. You could see that Rachel is terrified seeing that her mother didn't become a huge star and that it might be genetic. The way Shelby left that scene was SO selfish, I felt bad for Rachel, a rarity so far. Loved her and Kurt's GaGa costumes. The "Bad Romance" number was fantastic. Those football players really need to get a life. This gay bashing is so 1970's. The GLEE boys nailed KISS. Dijon Talton actually got a line in this episode. He tried to hide it, but Kurt was thrilled when Finn told him that those guys think he and Finn are lovers. I can't believe Kurt doesn't know how uncomfortable he is making Finn. Will doesn't need to be interfering with Rachel and Shelby. I can't believe Kurt would think Finn would be comfortable with that bedroom. Mike O'Malley was brilliant when Burt stepped up for his son?

Season One, Ep 21. Jonathan Groff and Vocal Adrenaline were great on "Another One Bites the Dust." They TP'd the choir room/ Not too childish. Why did it look like W\ill is regretting his decision to divorce Terri. The idea of Puck and Finn teaming up is intriguing. I laughed out loud when Sue said Lincoln was the first gay POTUS. Why do they keep bringing Sandy back? That character has worn out its welcome. "I'm so depressed I wore the same outfit twice this week." Loved everyone laughing at Quinn about wanting to be funky. You just know that Quinn is going to bring it. "You destroy the heart of a team's heart and you destroy the team." Not sure what Will was trying to do with "Tell Me Something Good". Whatever it was, apparently it didn't work. "But this is all the pink we have?" How am I supposed to shop without my Kenny G?" "Something strange happened yesterday, I felt something below the neck." This whole Will seducing Sue thing is turning my stomach. "I have this compulsive need to crush other people's dreams." Finn and Terri? Seriously? Dianna Aragon didn't make me sick with "It's a Man's World." Loved her pregnant chorus girls. I liked Puck and Finn's "Good Vibrations" than that other number they did. Will is being so weird about this funk assignment, as always, his assignments are vague and then he gets upset when they don't nail it. "I don't even like you and I was willing to jump at the chance to be with you." Will considers what he did with Sue "destroying" her? The ego on this guy. I cannot believe Jessie did that to Rachel. "we're about to go all Braveheart on Vocal Adrenaline." "Even your breath stinks of mediocrity." This episode should have been on Jane Lynch's Emmy reel. OK, I liked "We Want the Funk" but I don't understand how that was supposed to hurt Vocal Adrenaline.

I have to admit, I didn't think we'd ever get here, but we're finally at the Season One Finale. Loved when Sue said his hair looked like a briar patch. They got me with Quinn's dream. It's like they all walked a thousand miles only to get punched in the stomach?" Emma and the dentist...ok. Whether or not Emma and the dentist have had sex is none of Will's business. I want to see what happens with Quinn because, if memory serves, she was written off at season one. Will's speech was so corny. Why are the judges in the audience? Loved the shot about Finn's dancing. Cory and Lea sounded really ice on "Faithfully." Well I see Nya finally got solo in 'Don't Stop Believing." Why isn't Quinn's father in the audience? Who would cheat on Charlotte Ross? Sorry, I love Jonathan Groff, but he's no Freddie Mercury. Liked the choreography though. Shelby is really coming off as rather insensitive. She says she missed out with Rachel, but I don't see a lot of remorse there. Can't believe Olivia Newton-John was mad only one group sang one of their songs. I love them making Olivia Newton-John a bitch for this episode. I knew Vocal Adrenaline was going to win because New Directions needs something to aim for for the next five seasons. Why was Emma getting so emotional about all this? OMG, Dijon Talton was finally allowed to speak! "To Sir with Love" was a little syrupy choice for a finale, but it was well performed. I had a feeling sue voted for New Directions. After everything that she's done, Sue softening during the finale just doesn't ring true. I could have lived without "Over the Rainbow."

And now the second season opener. Why do we have to start season 2 with Jacob, the show's most annoying character. Mark Salling looks amazing in this episode. Jacob did have a point about Will rapping. "How do you get the white on rice." The first appearance of Dot Marie Jones as Coach Beiste. "You're all coffee and no omelette. They actually addressed the firing of Dijon Talton, which is silly because they never gave the guy a chance. Liked the number on the school steps though it's motivation was a little muddy, at least to the students watching the number. Loved that somebody wrote Buttface McBall Nuts on Will's sign up sheet. Sue and Will teaming up again Beiste...nothing good can come of this. Chord Overstreet's naked debut as Sam Evans. Love when people talk to people who can't speak English think English is understandable if you speak slower and louder. That was kind of cool number Rachel and that girl were doing until it was interrupted by Sue, which actually was funny. Sending Beiste pizzas? That's the best Will and Sue could come up with? "Being gay isn't a handicap, Artie." No argument with Tina about Harry Shum's abs. "Dude, your mouth is huge...how many tennis balls can you fit in there?" Who belongs to that song "Billionaire"? Sunshine doesn't deserve whatever Rachel has planned for her. Loved Puck's joke about Helen Keller. Why does Artie think being on the football team will get Tina back? Glad to see Quinn is still with the show. Finn's audition for the Cheerios was the funniest thing EVER!! It's weird that Sue has issues with plastic surgery, you'd think she would applaud any improvement to a Cheerio's appearance and he was way too hard on Santana. I like that they're addressing the fact that Santana was seriously underused during season one. Why does Finn think Sam idolizes him? "I didn't send her to an active crack house." Rachel legitimizing what she did to Sunshine was hysterical. I don't remember Sunshine at all from the first time I watched this show. She nailed "Listen" and I loved Rachel freaking out because of it. Sue made cookies out of dog poop? Sam became the quarterback five minutes after joining the team? Cheyenne Jackson!

Season Two, Ep 2. Please don't let this entire episode be about the music of Christopher Cross. That whole Brittany thing was stupid. Love the way bristles whenever Emma mention's Carl's name. OMG, John Stamos is playing Carl! "The only thing that's saving you right now is my moral code." "I was pretty sure Dr Pepper was a dentist." Heather Morris' "Slave 4 You" was smoking hot. The camera really loved Naya Rivera. The Kurt/Will encounter was awesome. Convenient how Will is so concerned about Emma now that someone else is showing interest in her. Love the way they sprinkled the real Brittney throughout the episode. "I think that guy just broke up with this girlfriend so he could stare at you." Please get rid of Jacob. Terri's appearance was a total shock to me. She really thinks Will is going to forgive her. Enjoyed Kevin McHale and the football team's take on "Stronger". Why is Beiste putting Artie on the football team? "the only way this relationship is going to work is if we're both losers." Actually enjoyed Matthew on "Toxic" and why was Sue so upset? I wonder if they're ever going to give Sue a life? "I mean seriously, you wear more vests than the cast of "Blossom." Emma is LOVING the fact that Will is jealous of Carl, "US History...I forgot I was taking that." Wow, how insecure is Rachel to use Quinn like that. "The Only Exception" was kind of a blah finale to the episode.

Season Two. Ep 3. The grilled cheese opening was stupid. A coke and two slim jims, the breakfast of champions. Every scene with Chris Colfer and Mike O'Malley is gold. It's looking like this episode is going to get a little touchy. Liked Puck's salute to Billy Joel. No argument regarding Kurt's feelings about how most churches treat gays. Finn yelling at Kurt for not calling him was totally uncalled for. Mercedes nailed "I Look to You." "I think God is like Santa Claus for adults." Of course, Sue had to stick her nose into this, which would be ok if it were her class. Did Finn actually say "Jew Church"? What Sue is doing to Kurt is evil. So are we supposed to be believe that Sue's evil stems from the way Jean was treated when they were children? I'm sorry, every moment he had onscreen in this episode made Finn look like a moron. Rachel using Kurt's dad's sickness to get closer to Finn is kind of gross. Not sure I cared for the context behind Rachel's "Papa Can You Hear Me?" Lea did a great job on the song though. Loved when Beiste called Finn "Lurch." Chris Colfer's take on "I wanna hold your had" reminded me of the movie Across the Universe. Puck should have done "Losing My Religion". Loved the hat Kurt wore to church but surprised nobody said anything about it. Loved "Bridge Over Troubled Waters". Amber Riley has one serious set of pipes,

Season 3, Ep 4. Why would Puck do such a thing? What is it about this restaurant Breadsticks that gets everyone in a tizzy? Glad Kurt figured out that Sam is straight. "I like something warm beneath me or I can't digest my food." I'm definitely down with Mercedes and Santana doing a duet. I understand where Finn was coming from with Kurt, but I'm not sure if it was his place. A little more imagination could have been put into a choice of duet for Finn and Rachel. Don't believe Rachel assuming they're going to win and must throw this competition. OK, I'm beginning to get the appeal of Breadsticks. What is Brittany up to with Artie? "Why does couple therapy have to be Asian?" Why is Finn so concerned about Sam and Kurt? Well, Sam got his first slushie, he's officially Glee Club now. There's definitely some chemistry between Dianna Aragon and Chord Overstreet. It's sweet watching Kurt take care of his dad. I cannot believe that Kurt still thinks Sam might be gay. Burt's advice to Kurt was perfect. Mercedes and Santa's duet did not disappoint. Kurt could have waited until Sam got out of the shower to have that conversation. Brittany is definitely going to break Artie's heart. Chris Colfer knocked "Le Jazz Hot" out of the park. Why is Quinn fighting her attraction to Sam so hard? "I need to start learning to ignore people." "Sing" was a perfect duet for Mike and Tina but the choreography was over the top. Why is Finn staying in Sam's face? What Finn and Rachel did with "I'm Born Again" was truly cringy. Whose song is the one Quinn and Sam did? "I've been practicing nudging the meatball across the table to you...with my nose." I knew Brittany was gong to break Artie's heart. How did Sam and Quinn win that contest and if everybody voted for themselves, how did they win by two votes? That last scene with Kurt and Rachel was lovely.

Season Two, Ep 5. It's the Rocky Horror episode. Don't know whose lips those were singing "Science Fiction Double Feature", but if I had to venture a guess I'd go with Naya Rivera. Sam's going to play Rocky...big shock. For some reason, I wasn't surprised that Kurt had no interest in playing Frank-N-Furter, too easy I guess. What's with John Stamos and all the leather? John Stamos' take on "Hot Patootie" felt a little cleaned up. "We need a Frank-N-Furter, not an Eddie, Eddie was eliminated in my re-writes." Mercedes will be a fierce Frank-N-Furter. These guys being embarrassed about showing off their bodies is tired. Amber nailed "Sweet Transvestite." How is Will playing Rocky going to help him get Emma away from Carl? The edits on the lyrics to "toucha toucha me" were dumb. "This play has incredible pacing problems." Why did they have Finn wear boxers instead of briefs? How does what Finn did cause loss school time?

Season Two, Ep 6. Glad to see Quinn seems to be taking it slow with Sam. "You have to find something to be your own buzz kill." Loved Tina's out fit in that opening scene. Kurt didn't want to play Frank N Furter in the last episode but he wants to be on the girls team for the competition. Loved that see through bow tie Kurt was wearing. Kurt was right...the school's lack of discipline regarding homophobia is bad. That first Bieste fantasy was hysterical. Loved when Sue called Sam a Macauley Culkin stunt double. Puck and Artie's duet was kind of meh. "You don't need any cash for that...she's free." The first appearance of Darren Criss as Blaine with the Warblers. The Warbler's arrangement of "Teenage Dream" was gorgeous. Bieste in a pink tutu? Seriously? "You clearly look like women who give you a hard time." "You crap on my leg I'll cut it off." Not sure if I buy all the tolerance the Warblers were shoveling. The chemistry between Darren Criss and Chris Colfer is off the charts. How can Will tell Bieste not to take it personally? Puck's breakfast line story was stupid. Very glad Artie paid for the meal. The mashup of "Start Me Up" and "Living on a Prayer" and the girls looked amazing in black leather. That scene with Sue and Will was stupid...there's something seriously wrong with her. Carofsky...OMG. "If everybody just put out, we'd have a winning football team." Carofsky's nuts. Bieste quitting her job over this is childish. I liked Will kissing Bieste. Glad Puck came clean with Artie about juvie. What does Carofsky want from Kurt? The boyus' introduction apology was WAY too long.

Season Two, Ep 7. That whole thing of Figgins being sneezed on was gross. The hallucination with the glee club as children was hysterical. Not thrilled with the return of Terri. Singing in the Rain makes Will feel better when he's sick? Not too gay. The first appearance of Gwyneth Paltrow as Miss Holliday, an actress I can't stand on general principle. Actually wouldn't have minded hearing "Conjunction Junction" in its entirety. "At least I didn't fall and break and my talent." How could Miss Holliday know the choir's names by watching a video of them at sectionals? Matthew Morrison doing "Make em Laugh"? Uh...no. And almost totally ripping off the staging from the movie didn't help. Sue and Holly bonding...how did that happen? Loved when Sue called Mercedes "Jackee." I had flashes of Misery watching Terri feed will soup. Will thinking below the waist...has he forgotten everything Terri did? The whole tots thing was stupid. "Nowadays" was the upbeat song with a great dance beat Rachel was talking about? They weren't even subtle trying to rip off the set from the movie. Why is Mercedes so obsessed with getting in the middle of Kurt and Blaine? Why is Mercedes being turned into the clown of the show instead of being allowed to show off those amazing pipes? This Holly Holliday is a hot mess and I hope this episode is her only appearance. Glad Will came to his senses regarding Terri. I am glad Kurt told Mercedes what she really needed to hear. There is something seriously wrong with Carofsky. That Mary Todd Lincoln thing was stupid and tasteless. I don't think teachers get to request specific subs when they call in sick. The set for the Umbrella/Singing in the Rain mashup was amazing with the actual water on the stage.

Season Two, Ep 8. Not surprised that Kurt is thrilled and Finn is not regarding their parents' engagement. I just love Mike O'Malley as Burt. "Which is why I prefer to think of the homeless as outdoorsy." Sue marrying herself is really stupid. Finn seems really threatened by Sam. Sam is insane giving Quinn a ring...after what she went through last season. Carofsky is even more insane than Sam. "High school is a dry run for the rest of your life." Sue needs to stop calling Kurt "Lady". It's not funny. I like Rachel's concern for Kurt. Carol Burnett playing Sue's mom! Love it. Sue's mom is a nazi hunter? She seems to be the only person on the planet who can push Sue's buttons. That fight scene with Sam and arofsky was surprisingly realistic.. I like that the guys stood up for Kurt. This is why Kurt is going to end up going to Blaine's school at some point. Carol and Jane nailed "Ohio" from Wonderful Town but it seems a strange wedding song, even for a stupid wedding like Sue's. It's fun watching somebody get to Sue. Loved Bert confronting Carofsky and putting partial blame on Finn. Daniel Roebuck as Carofsky's dad and was surprisingly impressed that Sue expelled Carofsky. Bert was hysterical dancing down the aisle. Bert's monologue at the alter was lovely. Bert and Carole were terrific on the dance floor too. It looks like Finn is turning a corner with Kurt. Weird choice for the song Finn dedicated to Kurt. It was also a joy seeing Finn and Kurt dance together. Really liked this episode, though it would have been nice to see a little more of Carol Burnett.

Season Two, Ep 9. First episode with no recap at the beginning. Will actually looked shocked and offended at Emma implying his predictability. Everything she said was absolutely correct. Great to see Will finally mixing it up. Finn and Rachel are so full of themselves...it is getting little tiresome seeing Finn and Rachel center stage at every competition. So glad Kurt switched schools and to Warblers. Though the thing with the bird was stupid. Why is Rachel more offended that Finn was with Santana instead of Quinn? And Emma is the last person they should be discussing this with. One side of her mouth Brittany is saying she has more talent than anyone and the other hand she's saying she's terrified. Puck stole a soda machine? Nice that Kurt realized he stepped out of line in that Warblers meeting. Carofsky was in that scene in the locker room, wasn't he expelled in the last episode? Rachel needs to get over herself. When Puck exited that port-a-potty, he looked like a guy in prison after a spell in "the hole." Puck's speech to Rachel was kind of strange. That black cheerleader outfit on Tina was hot. "You are brilliant and talented as you are irritating." I actually preferred Chris to Lea on "Don't Cry for me Argentina." I don't know what Blaine was talking about, it didn't feel like Kurt was "trying too hard." Loved the Kurt/Rachel reunion. I have to wonder if the lead singer of the senior group was doing her own singing. The arrangement on the Warbler's number was brilliant. So ironic Kurt didn't get a solo because his voice is way stronger than Darren Criss. "You care about the Santana of it all." Brittany was pinning everything on a magic comb? Sometimes this girl's stupidity borders on unrealistic. Nice to see Naya get a solo after a season and a half. It shouldn't have been a tie. The Warblers were better.

Season Two, Ep 10. Does Emma want Will to be devastated about her and Carl? Love Will getting Sue for Secret Santa. So are we having another grown up who still believes in Santa storyline? That opening number was so queer. According to the credits, Figgins returns in this episode. Nice that Amber was fronting ":We Need a Little Christmas" even if they didn't get to do the entire number. "Santa laps are always really warm and it's creepy." Loved Sam asking Santa for chapstick. Why did Santa tell Brittany he could make Artie walk? Rachel's Xmas gift to Finn was classic Rachel. Lea nailed "Merry Christmas Darling." I forgot why Finn is mad at Rachel. Where did Will think he was going to buy Sue a soul? Loved Kurt and Blaine doing "Baby It's Cold Outside." I was sure they were going to have Sam and Quinn do that song. "I'm in love with him and he's actually gay. I call that progress." Loved the reveal that Sue rigged Secret Santa. "You're a regular Agatha Christie...but even more sexless." Why does Bieste need to break into Brittany's house? Sue's "Sue the Grinch" was fantastic. Brittany as Cindy Lou Who was the icing on the cake. The arrangement on "Last Christmas" was a little busy. I'm glad Finn couldn't be forced into forgiving Rachel. Will's Christmas speech was corny. Why did Bieste take off her beard and why didn't Brittany react to it? Dot-Marie Jones was really good. in that scene with Brittany. Artie's Christmas miracle was a perfect finale to the show. Didn't think Artie's miracle be topped but it was.

Season Two, Ep11. Liked The Cheerios opening number even if Sue didn't. Why do these girls even try to argue with Sue? They haven't figured out that it's pointless after al this time? I guess when I thought Carofsky was expelled he was only suspended. Why did Bieste let all that crap go in the locker room? All those guys ganging up on Artie was just evil. Actually, having the football team spend a week in glee club is not a bad idea. The song choice for Rachel and Puck was kind of weird though. Rachel only sang with Puck to make Finn jealous? Not too childish. Sue's little rampage was definitely over the top. I think Will might have had some effect on Carofsky. Sue is never going to let Quinn forget what happened last year. Loved the guys zombie number. Loved the Warblers' number. The girls on the football team? No good can come of this. I cannot Believe Brittany is going to do this. The halftime show was awesome, but Puck should have been singing "Thriller." Can't believe Katie Couric interviewed Sue. Loved Sue calling her Diane Sawyer. A Quinn/Finn reconciliation is in the works?

Season 2, Ep 12. I love that Puck is actually finding himself attracted to Lauren. I wouldn't have thought of Kurt as a Valentine's Day cynic. I know Kurt thinks Blaine was talking about him and he's going to get his heart broken. A week of no one being slushed! Congratulations! A musical version of Willow? Really? Blaine announced being in love to the whole choir. Glad that Kurt got to hang with girls for awhile. Puck's musical seduction of Lauren totally worked. It's funny to see Santana actually being bested. Why is Finn so interested in breaking up Sam and Quinn now? Finn can't run a kissing booth and kiss Rachel on the cheek? Why does Artie get to sing all the Michael Jackson songs? I have to admit he did a good job with "PYT". Loved when Santana called Lauren Pop n Fresh. Puck begging Lauren to go out with him, I love it. What game is Quinn playing with Sam and Finn? who's playing Blaine's crush? That sucks that Blaine got Jeremiah fired. Kurt could have made an effort to look a little less happy. "I know what cheating looks like I do it all the time." Loved Santana's candy striper outfit. If Santana wanted to get Finn sick, she could have at leas paid for the kiss. I love that Blaine is now the Valentines cynic. Is he actually surprised that Blaine's actions got him fired? Blaine really hurt Kurt's feelings. My dad's a drug addict so losers make me horny." Finn's kissing booth raised over $300...impressive. What was Tina's breakdown about? Love that Lauren stood up Puck. "Firework" was great. I really like Darren Criss, but are any other Warblers going to get solos?

Season Two, Ep 13. This is the first episode we've seen in awhile that shows Will in an actual classroom teaching Spanish. Can't believe Will and Emma would be dumb enough to think Sue would commit suicide, she's way to self-absorbed for that. This episode also brought up something else I just realized...why do we never see Sue and the cheerios at football games cheering? Quinn seems to be growing bored with Sam and at least he seems to recognize it. This episode is about to lose me because I know nothing about Justin Bieber. Sue's little temper tantrum in the hallway was stupid. "I agree with sponge head square chins...it's a stupid idea.", "Dude, that haircut makes your mouth look even bigger." The only thing that keeps Tina away from angry birds is Mike's abs? Rachel actually refers to her style of dress as "Sexy schoolgirl librarian chic." Puck in a hairpiece? Seriously? The reactions to that number on the stage were a bit over the top. Why is Finn so anti-Bieber? Loved Lauren describing herself as hot melted butter. "Take Me or Leave Me" was a little underwhelming. Expected more from Lea and Amber. "No outfits, no jazz hands, just music." Loved Lauren's "I Know what Boys Like." Why can't they just give Santana her own love interest instead of having her trying to break up already established couples? Don't really get the plaid workshirt costume theme and Sue having her track suit stripes on hers was stupid. And whose song was that? Writing original music? That has disaster written all over it. Why would Oral Intensity hire Sue?

Season Two, Ep 14. Is there such a thing as a song about the dangers of teenage drinking? I thought Rachel's mother (Idina Menzel) was the coach of Oral Intensity. "I can't wait for you to start climbing the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous because when you get to the top, I'm gonna knock you down." why is Puck coming on to Rachel again? I thought he was crushing on Lauren. Carole King and Gerry Goffin...didn't they write songs for The Monkees? That song "My headband" was really stupid. Eric Stolz directed this episode. How has Rachel gotten this far in her life without ever having a drink? Rachel's party dress was so 70's. "Brittney remember the rules, no sitting on anything." Drunk Kurt and drunk Blaine...so not funny. Not buying Santana as the weepy hysterical drunk. Empty-headed Finn is the expert on drunk archetypes. What the hell was Artie wearing? That Blaine/Rachel kiss was hot and their duet wasn't bad either. Is Rachel seriously going to try to come between Kurt and Blaine? Hate Puck's glasses. Loved Burt finding Blaine in Kurt's bed. I've never understood this cliche of wearing sunglasses when you're hungover, does it really help?. I liked "Blame it on the Alcohol." Kurt really stabbed Rachel in the heart when he said Blaine and Rachel had no chemistry. Drunk Will was a little over the top.

Season Two, Ep 15. Emma giving counseling regarding abstinence. Did she really use the phrase "hose monster"? The return of Holly, trying to hold back my enthusiasm. "wait, cucumbers can give you AIDS?" Don't get what Will sees in Holly. I don't believe for a minute that Brittney is pregnant. Seriously? Not only does Brittney believe in Santa, but she also believes that babies come from storks? "That's a waste of some fine man butt." "Sex, it's just like hugging...only wetter." Was Gwyneth's first number really appropriate for a high school classroom? Can Blaine and Kurt be smart enough to stay as far away from Sue as possible? "Porcelain, you've just made a powerful new enema." Loving that Emma is so jealous of Holly she can't see straight...has she forgotten that she's married?" Where was the music for the Warbler's music for that number for the sister school? On a tape recorder, it sure wasn't acapella. The suds reminded me of Ann-Margret's most famous scene in Tommy. "I think it's better without eye contact." Who would make a sex tape with JD Salinger? Loved Blaine practicing sexy looks with Kurt. Matthew and Gwyneth's "Kiss" totally worked...the staging reminded me of Roxanne in Moulin Rouge. I don't know if Blaine going to Burt was such a good idea...pretty sure Kurt will explode when he finds out. That song Holly chose for Santana and Brittney seemed like a strange choice. This whole thing with Brittney is really freaking Santana out? I love Puck joining the celibacy club. OK, I can't lie, "Afternoon Delight" had me on the floor. Not exactly shocked that Carl is not happy with his sex life. LOVED Burt's talk with Kurt...how did Mike O'Malley not win an Emmy for his work on this show? Emma and Carl haven't consummated their marriage? I knew it wasn't too physical a marriage but I didn't see that coming. My lips are sealed, just like your legs." Naya was wonderful in that final scene with Brittney, I don't think Brittney has a clue how badly she has hurt Santana. Quinn is using Finn again, but for what?

Season Two, Ep 16. The opening Warblers number had no context. I mean we saw Blain throw some papers in the air but what was it all about? Was Blaine seriously acting surprised that Kurt thinks of them as "Blaine and the Pips"? Can't believe wrote her next original song all about her again? "How damaged does a guy have to be to be into someone like Rachel?" Don't understand why Quinn thins she can't win prom queen without Quinn. Chris Colfer's take on "Blackbird" was lovely, but they should left out the backup. World War Sue, I loved that. All of a sudden, they all think they're songwriters. Loved Santana calling Artie Stubbles McCripple Pants. Brittany is so dim that she can't see that she can't have both Santana and Artie. I loved Kurt pretending to be unworthy as Blaine's duet partner. A rhyming dictionary? That's a thing? Naya nailed "Trouty Mouth." Did Santana really think they were going to sing that at Regionals? Liked Puck's "Big Ass Heart: too, Blaine and Kurt's first kiss was very hot. Mercedes' "Hell to the No" was a little underwhelming. I'm wondering why Ryan even hired Amber because he clearly doesn't have a clue what to do with her. Sue throwing sticks at Mercedes? Seriously? How does that woman keep her job? Quinn and Rachel fighting over Finn...he is so not worth being fought over. After all his musical experience, are we supposed to believe that Kurt was nervous. His duet with Kurt was lovely though.

Season Two, Ep 17. Oh God, not another Gwyneth Paltrow episode. This kids have no idea what salt water taffy is? They sure looked like it was something foreign to them. How is Brittney is on the smarty pants team? Artie couldn't handle the white rappers category? Can't believe Sue is using Teri to destroy Will. Nice to see Cheyenne Jackson as part of Sue's team, I love him. "I am both awesome and unavailable at the same time." I really hoe this is the last appearance of Paltrow. Night of Neglect? I don't get it. A class in heckling/ seriously? This applied that this is Sunshine Corrazon's appearance but I somehow I missed the first. Good thing the band had an arrangement of "All By Myself" handy. She nailed that modulation though. Lauren's advice to Mercedes was spot on, hope Mercedes was listening. I forgot that Emma had OCD,,,and were we supposed to be shocked that Carl left her. Paltrow had more chemistry with Cheyenne Jackson than she does with Matthew Morrison. Will's feelings for Holly seem to be deeper than I thought and I don't know why. why does Mercedes want a puppy? Way too convenient that Shorofsky shows up the second Blaine and Kurt return to the school. Finn doesn't know the expression "the show must go on" after being in the glee club for two years? The scene of Tina being heckled was stupid.

Season Two, Ep 18. Liked George Wyner as Rachel's doctor, who knows what the word belt means, I'm very troubled with Rachel, the number one Streisand fangirl would consider getting a nose job since Streisand never did. "and I'm sure definitely Tina has looked into an eye de0slanting.' "The thing you'd most like to change about you is the most interesting thing about you. Look at Santana trying to organize things from inside. Emma is in serious denial about her OCD. I liked Quinn and Rachel's mashup, not just the song but the concept and the editing. Loved watching put Carofsky in his place. She really got to him. The only straight I am is straight up bitch." Loved Quinn and Finn being shot from the interior of their lockers.'" Corey did a good job with "I've gotta be me" but Mike dancing around him was just distracting and didn't make sense. Why does Rachel think Glee Club Rehearsal is an appropriate place for her to talk about her possible nose job? Don't understand how having a nose job will improve her voice. At least Emma is aware that she copped out with her t-shirt. What Will said to Emma was the truth. I guess they are continuing to ignore the fact that Carofsky was expelled last season and was back two episodes later. The Bullywhips...love it. Why would that guy take that kid's pants? That was weird. I'm glad Burt isn't taking Carofsky seriously. Clearly, Carofsky's father (Daniel Roebuck) has been having the wool pulled over his eyes for years. I love Kurt insisting that Carofsky learn who Eve Harrington is. So the Warblers actually sent an entire orchestra and show choir to say goodbye to Kurt? Yeah, right. But that looks like MacKinley, why would they come all the way to Kurt to say goodbye, wouldn't they say goodbye before he left, which technically he hasn't done yet.

Season Two, Ep 19. Does anybody eat fondue anymore. Cats eat cheese? Sam was way harsh refusing to go to prom with Rachel. Sue is becoming a cartoon character who is getting difficult to take seriously. Who would do a revival of The Wiz with an all white cast? Love how Santana called it "the Melted Cheese Show." I thought it was so important to Will that April get sober, he doesn't care anymore? I guess I'm not going to know the songs in this episode because I know nothing about Fleetwood Mac. Will and April's duet was great, I love the way their voices blend. Kevin McHale was really good in that scene with Brittany even if it made him look like an idiot. He shouldn't have called Brittany stupid though. I'm with Rachel, I don't understand why Finn would get back together with Quinn. Not feeling Quinn and Sam as a couple at all. "Coach Sylvester says I'm not at liberty to say."

Season Two, Ep 20. This episode was directed by Eric Stolz. The red headed reporter...they need to lose that guy. Sue's grandmother drowned in a punch bowl? Seriously? "We'll see you at the prom, Butt Chin." Mercedes' self pity is a little hard to take. I understand Blaine's fear about going to prom, but I hope he and Kurt don't get hurt. I like that Kurt gave Blaine a chance to skip prom go to a movie instead. Sam doesn't have a date for prom? How can that be? Lauren's yellow red dress was hideous. "I'll be like the Law and Order Eva Peron candidate." What makes Puck think he's lovable but dangerous? Spiking the punch? How 1972 is that? Enjoyed the return of Jonathan Groff. their Adele duet was quite powerful. I hope Rachel doesn't get wrapped up in Jessie again, how can she trust this guy? Finn whining about Quinn was not attractive at all. Liberace mannequins...kids this age shouldn't even know who Liberace is. Liked Artie's Stevie Wonder homage, but they should have had him do the whole thing acapella. Bert has a pal in the tuxedo business? Kurt wearing a kilt to prom? Does he want to get beat up? Kurt clearly is only hearing what he wants to hear? Liked Kurt's advice to Carofsky but I don't see him ever coming out. Like that he apologized to Kurt though. LOVED Quinn's prom dress. Puck's tux was awesome, but Artie in red was a little much. Carofsky and Santana...most clearly uncomfortable dates I have ever seen. How nasty of Sue to call Artie "legs"? "You're the worst POW ever, John McLane is rolling over in his grave." Mercedes is way too cool to be doing the robot. Jonathan Groff in a fight scene? Seriously? Carofsky winning prom king? Did not see that coming. Kurt as queen? That's just nasty. Like what happened to Carrie White. "Just because I hate everybody doesn't mean everybody has to hate me too." I feel bad for Kurt but he should have seen something like this coming.

Season Two, Ep 21. Will is really stupid to hire Jessie as a consultant. Principal Figgis' password is 1234? Seriously? Why did Sue kick Becky off the Cheerios? OK, but kicking Becky off the Cheerios is not going to bring Jean back. I understand her anger but taking it out on Becky? Did Rachel really put a gold star next to her name on the sign in sheet? Will's really doing that musical with April? That was sweet that Will remembered what vest he was wearing when he met Emma.. Naya nailed her Amy Winehouse tribute. Loved Chris Colfer's take on "Some People", though his wardrobe choice was a little troubling. Amber Riley's "Try a Little Tenderness" was amazing. Jessie finding fault with everyone just smacked of cliche. The question Jessie asked Rachel before her solo was completely inappropriate. I wish Lea had put her own stamp on "My Man" rather than imitating Barbra note for note. Jane Lynch was superb in the scene with Kurt and Finn helping her clear out Jean's things, "Jen always stood up for you when I told her how evil your hair was." Sue's eulogy was beautiful even if Sue couldn't get through it. I hate Quinn not accepting being dumped. Dianna Aragon nailed that scene though. Jessie calling Mercedes lazy really pisses me off...Judy Garland listened to a song once and she had it. Sue running for Congress, I love it. I can't believe Teri thinks consorting with Sue is going to help her get Will back. OK, looks like Teri's last episode, thank God. Emma wearing Will's vest? Not too Rose on Two and a Half Men. Mercedes should have won.

Second season finale. What the hell was Rachel wearing in that opening scene? Sitting in the middle of Times Square singing "New York New York"? Seriously? They arrived in New York for this competition and haven't written any songs yet? That cup song was stupid. "New York's going to write them for us." I love them singing and dancing in the middle of Washington Square Park and all of the extras acting like they're not there. A pillow fight? Really? Will's "We Still Got Tonight" solo was a big snooze. Why were Finn and Rachel dressed like Rock Hudson and Doris Day in Central Park? Patti Lupone looked amazing. The Lady in the Tramp Song? The song selections for this episode have been pretty lame so far. There's no way in hell two people could walk off the street into an actual Broadway theater. Every door would be locked. Chris Colfer's voice is a musical miracle. Even though they would never get inside that theater, Chris and Lea nailed "For Good." Quinn's obsession with Finn is really starting to get scary. Great to see Cheyenne Jackson, hope he gets to sing. I didn't realize Will hadn't told the kids about his Broadway debut. Why would a girls' choir do Usher's "Yeah"? The band was too loud on Finn and Rachel's duet. This whole Jesse thing is so silly because Jonathan Groff just might be the gayest actor in show business and I don't buy his attraction to Rachel at all. Why are they so surprised they didn't rank? Vocal Adrenaline was way better than they were. Loved seeing Blaine finally telling Kurt that he loves him. Brittany and Santana could be happy if Santana would stop with the mixed messages. Brittany is not smart enough to decipher mixed messages.
