I am a Whiskey man, especially Jack Daniels. In fact, I like the Godfather drink about as much as the movie. I also love long island iced tea.

Cuba Libre! Coca-cola, rum and a slice of lime! I drank Long Island Iced Teas in my youth when I was in a big hurry to get wasted. I don't really drink much anymore.
I barely drink anymore, but when I used to drink it was beer for lighter drinking and vodka & lemonade for proper smashing.

I enjoy white wine too, but don't drink them heavier drinks that often.

Haven’t drank in ages, except for the rare Michelob Ultra with a beer.
Before that it was a lot of different things. But the go to was always gin and juice.
My Top 10 Alcoholic Drinks When I Used to Drink:
1. Smirnof Vodka & Lemonade
2. Kronenbourg 1664 Lager Beer
3. Beck's Lager Beer
4. Stella Artois Lager Beer
5. Captain Morgan Spiced Rum & Coke
6. Southern Comfort Liqueur & Coke
7. Erdinger Wheat Beer
8. Paulaner Wheat Beer
9. Guinness Stout Beer With a Splash of Blackcurrant
10. Bacardy Black Rum & Coke

For beer I am a Guinness Stout man, I prefer red wine to white (Cabernet Sauvignon or Malbecs, please), and for mixed drinks I love a Bloody Mary in the morning and Mojitos in the afternoon and evening.

Gin and tequila are my favourites taste-wise. Don’t like sweet cocktails. Then wine, preferably dry. Hate whiskey. Hate beer. Don’t like sweet juices (on their own or mixed with any alcohol). Don’t mind a Fever-Tree lemonade.
I prefer red wine over white wine and if I had to drink a hard liquor without mixers I'd choose to drink whiskey. I love Mojitos.
I don't drink much, but I might have a red pinot noir (liking Meiomi lately) with my homemade spaghetti once every few months. That, or a blue moon with a steak or while grilling. A pinot gris if I'm cooking fish. If I'm entertaining I might make white russians or russian mules for the group. That's fun. Maybe just gin and sprite with a squeeze of lime or raspberry vodka with some random fruit juice. I usually keep a bottle of single malt scotch sitting around, but that will take a year or more to finish.

Haven't had any alcohol in almost 10 years, and even before that, I only drank (sometimes a lot) when I was backpacking overseas.. I did most of my drinking before it was legal. So glad I never got caught by the police. Even when I got drunk, I always hated the taste of alcohol, except once. I was in Sydney, at the Opera bar, and a girl I was with recommended this drink that had passion fruit juice, pomegranate juice, vodka, and possibly rum. It had one of those "made-up" names I don't remember, but couldn't find when I first looked it up.
If you are ever in Hungary, I recommend Unicom. It's a spicy bitter, but probably the only other thing that didn't taste bad... I'd usually drink shots of tequila (whiskey, etc) to get it over with, and stop caring a bit.
I don't drink any alcohol. I prefer orange juice, pepsi or water.
I don’t drink alcohol. I like iced tea, coffee in the morning, and milk (and cookies) when I feel like partying. 😎

These days my go-to cocktail is an Espresso Martini…
I enjoy most alcohol. I like wine, white or red, with dinner if it’s a dinner worth it. A beer is lovely too. Fresh New England Style IPAs or even dark stouts…
But I drink less now than I once did. Never been a problem for me though. But maybe one day I’ll quit drinking. For now though it’s just for pleasure in small amounts.

In my eyes, you are still too young to drink.
Yes, I know your age. You are close to my daughter's age. I still think she's too young for many things.
Even too young to watch A Clockwork Orange.
Don't even think you can call me MOM.

Yeah maybe. But of course, when I say “started drinking” I mean regularly.
I did taste alcohol before that. Even with permission. Actually in Denmark we have something called “Nisseøl”, which is a mild sweet Christmas beer.
I had that as a child a few times during December with the family. It had 1.7 ABV, so it wasn’t just alcohol free.*
Anyway, despite Denmark having a crazy drinking culture, I have never had a problem with it nor did I party and drink every weekend like many of my peers did around the 15-20 year age.
I don’t really enjoy getting really drunk anymore. It’s more a light buzz or because of the fact that I’m a foodie and love the complexity of wine or the art of brewing beer, for example.

To buy alcohol in stores that’s 16,5 ABV or less, you have to be 16 years old. And anything above, you have to be 18 years old. In restaurants, all alcohol you have to be 18 years old to buy.

I don't get drunk, I could count the number of times I've gotten really drunk on both hands...That usually ended in me puking my guts out, not fun. But I do enjoy having one beer before dinner after the work day is over. I'm choosy about which beer, I prefer handcraft local breweries. I also make beer myself but no I don't guzzle it just because it's made in a 5 gallon batch.

Spring-Summer season:
Gin (Beefeater or Tanqueray) + Schweppes Tonic
Ouzo + Tarator (cold milk (yogurt) soup with cucumber)
White or Rose Wine (usually Chardonnay or Sauvignon blanc)
Autumn-Winter season:
Red Wine
All seasons:
Rakia (fruit brandy) + lavish salad
Whisky (usually Jameson or Bushmills) + Coke
Rum (usually Captain Morgan or Bacardi) + Coke
Beer
Occasionally:
Aperol spritz cocktail
Vermouth + soda cocktail
Peppermint liqueur + soda cocktail
I'm just back home from the seaside and after the long drive, I'm enjoying a cold Gin-Tonic drink at this very moment. :yup:

Beer. Plain, with no fruit or other additives--just beer. Nothing fancy, but not Bud or Coors swill, either. Only from brown bottles, no green or clear bottles, or cans.
Dryish non-sweet red wines, and chardonnay. Mid-priced, only from bottles, no boxes or cans.
Used to drink margaritas, gin and tonic, and other mixed drinks, but haven't for many years.

So last time I bought whiskey, they didn't have flavored Jack. This time they did. It's the exact same ounce-to-cash price as the American Honey stuff I bought last time. This apple stuff blows American Honey out of its own factory.

I haven't had drinking alcohol in two years. I swore off the stuff in February 2023. I was never an alcoholic, though I would routinely drink with the theatre crowd. Now I won't drink at all. I would be perfectly content having zero drops of alcohol from February of 2023 until I die. When I did drink, it'd either be Scotch or vodka. I'd usually mix the vodka with a fruit juice. I never much liked beer nor wine.
I do, though, use rubbing alcohol a lot to clean things, especially, and not limited to, video game cartridges that don't work. Some rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab works wonders.

i gotta say i much prefer the no alcohol lifestyle. that said....i will totally get a doubleshot of a sipping tequila on vacation. last time i did that was like 5 years ago.
whenever i say "sipping tequila" around people my own age they make a disgusting face and say "wtf?!"

I'm "alcohol makes me pass out on the couch and makes my tinnitus worse" years old, so I don't drink very often, mostly on special occasions. Anyway, here's my preference per type:
Beer: Ambers like Fat Tire and darks like St. Bernardus Abt 12
Cider: Rekorderlig or Crispin
Wine: Not a big wine guy since it tends to give me headaches or even throw up. I really only like Port and Glühwein during the holidays
Spirits: Any cocktails with Campari like Boulevardiers or Negronis

Same. Just the smell of white wine and champagne makes my forehead ache.
Might be down to when I was about 19 and I drank 2 bottles after already having a skinful of beer and nearly died from alcohol poisoning.
