Made some scrambled eggs, I use four eggs cooked in avocado oil with a tiny bit of salt. Can't decide on cooking in avocado oil, or a new thing I've been doing where you use a bit of grass fed butter mixed with a bit of coconut oil. Neither add a strong taste spoiling the eggs but apparently the butter/coconut oil mix is very healthy.

I didn't get the bits of egg as thick this time, so 9 out of 10 today.

Likewise, I had some mac too, today. I might be typing this on MACintosh OS 12, but I had mac and cheese with some secret sauce for brekkie with a side of raspberry cordial.

Just had me Lasagna and it was amaze, It's all about the salad for me - cut up some little gem lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion and red pepper added some grated carrot n some finely chopped finger chillies. Going to get me some raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake and coffee now because you only get to live once right?

As for my fave takeaway Ellie, yes a ample piece of crumbed cod with crab balls and prawn cutlets with a green salad. We also often eat Chinese takeaway.

We looked at the dessert menu, and they had several desserts that looked great, but we were all too full for dessert.

We might have to go there one day just for dessert. :)

We rarely indulge ourselves with that type of meal, but my mother-in-law lives in an assisted living, and we take her out on the weekends, and we like to take her out somewhere a bit nicer than our usual restaurants at least once every couple of months.

I understand. Olive Garden is rare for me. Plus it seems they have an issue with my order. I don't care for red or white sauces and it's a problem to give me Olive oil or pesto when I do the create your own pasta.

I don't know why they would have a problem with Olive Oil instead of sauce. That seems like a simple request.

Hubby sometimes gets his pasta with butter. He has similar issues with Olive Garden because of his gout. He can't eat parmesan cheese, and a lot of their food is made with it, not just sprinkled on top. It's cooked into many of the foods.

Fortunately we had a waiter who understood, so he helped Hubby with which foods were safe for him to eat.

I had home made tacos for dinner tonight. (Well... "home made" via an Ortego Taco Kit - but you have to prep all the meat & fixins yourself). Topped them with shredded cheese, chopped onion, lettuce, tomato and sour cream.

Very good 4 (for Tacos anyway).

I only say that because they don't keep well for leftovers or reheats. I even said that "tacos tomorrow are just taco-salad" (because they just fall apart when trying to eat them after reheating them - so might as well just throw them in a bowl with all the toppings added on and eat them with a fork & knife). ;)

I asked, but all they would tell me is that it has some kind of sauce on it, but nobody seems to know what the sauce is.

I don't need to know the ingredients, just what it tastes like. I'm a very picky eater.

It's a sauce on a burger based on a TV show that takes place in a pineapple under the sea. If the sauce tastes like any kind of seafood, I'll hate it.

It doesn't taste like seafood at all imho. It's kind of like mayo with a relish zest, and perhaps dashes of Worcestershire sauce thrown in for good measure.

Usually I’m very health-conscious, do extreme sports, don’t eat dessert, work out every day, and all that.

Yet today has been a migraine day (sugar and carbs help), and so far (it’s only 6.22 pm), I’ve eaten:

Avocado toast x3 (no egg)
A ham sandwich
A giant homemade tiramisu
Two pieces of toast with black caviar
Spaghetti with pesto
Yoghurt-coated raspberries
Peppermint chocolates (uncountable)
A bowl of sorbet

I do feel somewhat better, so there’s that. That has all been delicious, so I rate all of the above 10/10. The longer the list gets, the more I laugh.

Not often I order takeaway but I decided to order me a Chinese takeaway last night and as I was on my own*with no wimps present worried this or that dish might be too hot or spicy (which has always seemed to be the case) I decided I would go “to town” and went for the “crispy chicken in chilli sauce” Which I made my own rice with. Absolute heaven.
