Having a tattoo is similar to having a baby. You can now remove it but couldn't for a long time.

So, fun and amusing fact: I thought that this thread was going to be a discussion of how often we thought it was necessary to take a shower per week, since I've increasingly and surprisingly been seeing many articles on this topic recently, somewhat randomly! Apparently this is quite the hot debate, and there are also many cultural differences. Who knew? But, that is apparently NOT what this thread is about. Carry on, everyone! :)

I take pretty short, efficient showers most of the time. Not a lot of time for thoughts. I have way more "shower thoughts" while walking the dog.

Yeah, I've been seeing that to. As someone who thought the idea of showering every single day was nuts from a young age, I feel vindicated.

the one downstairs is quirky. i have the right setting for today and then tomorrow i get in and it too hot or cold even tough i have changed the setting. i think it's because it's closer to the water boiler than the one upstairs. a first world problem :)

For me, shower thoughts are like dreams; they're very vivid and inspired when I have them, and when I leave the setting, they leave my brain. I seriously rarely, barely remember my shower thoughts, no matter how profound. Recently I vaguely recall some being about how my ex-wife wronged me, which is why she is my ex-wife now. I have some hazy recollection of recounting some days and wondering if my new skills helped me handle the situations better than I would have in years prior.

One I had tonight is the notion of a game or movie teaching someone character traits, and to a lesser extent behaviors, is rather hollow and untruthful. My dad thinks playing violent video games makes the player violent because it teaches the player that violence is okay. He fails to realize that I am smart enough to know that shooting someone in real life gets me in a world of trouble even though I get rewarded each time I do it in a video game.

He got pissed that my youngster found a YouTube video with some violence because of what it taught him. I so wanted to ask my youngster if he learned anything about killing and murder and if he turned into a serial killer from watching that video in front of granddad but granddad doesn't have a sense of humor, so I didn't do it.

Does he not know that people aren't stupid enough to not realize the difference between fiction and reality? Shit I've killed people in my short films multiple times and I have less desire, having had none in the first place, to kill anyone in real life after making them. I want to help people enjoy life, not take it. Come, friends! We enjoy ourselves and live life to the fullest! I hate working; it's boring. I don't want to waste my time doing dumb boring shit. Let's go ****ing do fun shit yo.
