I got a kindle and have thousands of sumptuous titles to choose from, i might be slipping into the world of Agatha Christie soon, my mom who passed recently was a fan of the Queen of Mystery.

Really need to dust off the kindle, strangely was just thinking about how I haven't read anything new in quite a while.

A while back I tried a few Jules Verne novels, found found that some of them were nuanced and shortened "kindle editions" rather than actual translations.

I just bought the Kindle Paperwhite a few weeks ago and I'm really loving it. I'm reading library books on it via the Libby app on my smartphone. I'm currently reading Frankenstein: Prodigal Son by Dean Koontz.

I love a good book but unfortunately haven't been able to amass enough quality private time to do much of anything that requires deep attention for some years now. I don't give up hope though,one day I will read again.

I come here to describe what's going on now, and why i'll probably hang up my socializing traits for good.

Components:

Dad is not well, how much time does he have?

The need to save money

Now these 2 components combine into the following:

I need to invest my time in a hitherto underdeveloped area -- this is now what that is -- Stephen King and Fantasy Series, these are the books that will cause me to have a classic kind of escapism where there is much to spend time with, and new ebooks can be gotten, albeit not at a maximum degree with only me knowing. Over the years i've gathered a few key series, that i am only now really getting into.

For watching films, i shall at this stage only watch a little bit per night, and sometimes not even that much, for reading is now the prime thing, let's say the time needed to read all that's in my kindle can be converted to how many Lord of the Rings Trilogies Extended Versions, my guess would be 1 MILLION LotR EV's!!! So clearly that is how my time shall be dwelling on more.

When dad is gone, i may pick up movies again, and if i do i would have more freedom, but i don't know how exactly i could transition. I need to ponder deeply my life going forward. All i've ever wanted was to escape, but when dad is gone, a funny thing might happen, i might be going through a hellish dynamic where i totally unequipped would long for being a part of something.

I feel already the whispering outlines of such a despair, how i've made a royal toilet flush of my whole existence, and so contemplating that, i say to these fantasy series that promise an engrossing immersive world to live in, bring it on, let me forget my life wholly and completely, while i gulp down hundreds of pages a day.

I liked it here, Movie Forums was the last site i ever took part in, friendly people, Mr. Minio made me laugh alot, thanks y'all.
