Never knew you were into that kind of music. I've got other wacky krautrock bands for you to try out.
Amon Duul II did the best one IMO: Yeti. You might also wanna check out Embryo and Eloy. A non-krautrock band closer to Eloy is Gong.

Prog-rock hooray... I like handfuls of songs mentioned by bands above (especially "Green Bubbled Raincoated Man" BUT, the best German prog-rock (easily) is Carol of Harvest.... Beate Krause (16-yrs old) sings her heart out... Such a beautiful voice, fine band. Only album :(
For me, prog ended there. The last great album might be Pink Floyd's "The Wall", but it's not prog, like the previous albums. And if it is, it's the last one that interested me.
