Every Christmas I listen to this song by the inimitable Daryl Pettiford of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. In the middle section he sings the most stirring rendition of "O, Come All Ye Faithful" that I've ever heard. Sadly Mr. Pettiford died suddenly in 2004.

I like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra very much also. Had never heard those two songs and they were pretty great! This next one is one I heard for the first time this year and it's not live but it's the Official Music Video and I like it better than the live one I saw, because the live one takes the children out of the equation and replaces them with a more rocking version with women. Normally, that wouldn't be a bad thing :p but I love the innocence of the kids' voices:
