Did anyone ever catch the one-season Rush Hour reboot series that was on CBS? Only the pilot was a TV styled rehash of the original film, but for what it was I enjoyed it. Jon Foo (an Irish-Chinese martial artist who appeared in Tony Jaa's "The Protector") was Lee and Justin Hires ("21 Jump Street" the movie) was Carter.
I felt each episode got better and better, and yet I also know it was going to only last 1 season. Nice little twists within the overall series. If this gets on DVD, I will buy it.
