The first is a play on einstein's E= mc 2


The pic is showing musical notes. "E = F flat" that little "b"shape means flat. It's funny because if you can read music, you know there is technically no F-flat. But if there was, it would be the note E. It's a musical pun.

I always liked the joke in Goonies near the end when the girl had to play the bones organ else the cave would collapse. Struggling to remember her childhood piano lessons, she admits to not know if the last note was an A-sharp or a B-flat. One of the other kids makes a joke and says, "Hit the wrong note, and we'll ALL be flat!"
