Earl Simmons, know by his stage name DMX, passed away today at the age of 50. He was best known for being the first rapper to have their first five albums go #1. He was a 🐐 and gave back to his community.

I can remember listening to the previews in F.Y.E. for It’s Dark and Hell is Hot. When it released we were on a family vacation and that album spoke to me. I had to beg and barter with mom to buy it because I was 9. I’ve been a fan ever since. And his passing tore my heart out.
