I'm an undergraduate Bachelor of Film and Television student at Bond University on Queensland's Gold Coast.
I'm also an independent [like, really independent] screenwriter/filmmaker.
I proudly work for my local Cinemark Theaters. I have been working there for 5 years, this coming June-July. It is a fun job...you meet people, talk movies, collect posters and standees (if your lucky) and see movies for FREE !!! :p (Which is a major plus).

Your friend was a cocktail? Hmmm. I'm thinking someone has a problem with alcohol. :D
I've been a news reporter most of my life. Started as a reporter on the high school paper and became editor. Wrote a column for the hometown weekly--no money but good experience. Finally got in college on the GI bill and studied journalism. Worked for daily newspapers in Texas. Taught journalism at a college for two semesters. Worked for the Houston Post 22 years until it went under in 1995. As I was cleaning out my desk, got a call from a trade magazine offering me a job. Worked for trade mags online for 15 years
