Was Cell 211 (2009) ever released on blu ray to purchase anywhere?

I want to buy the movie and there is a blu ray release, but it's region 2, where as I live in Canada. I cannot find region 1. However, would region 2 play in a blu ray player sold in Canada since a lot of them have various options?

I also found out that you can hack a blu ray player or program it to be region free. Should I just do that so I can buy blu rays from wherever in the world, and not have to worry? Or are their any advantages to not hacking it?

Oh okay, Hi there! What province? Yeah I saw the DVD, but wonder if I should go the extra mile for the region 2 blu ray maybe, if possible, when changing the blu ray player settings?

It also turns out that some blu ray players do not have a code at all. How do I find out if mine has one?
