I think Mask is Cher's best screen performance, far superior to her Oscar winning performance in Moonstruck. She was also the best thing about Momma Mia Here We Go Again. And as a true Cher fan, I'm sure you must know there is a show on Broadway about her right now:

Yeah I did some research on this movie, the actor who played Rocky Dennis looked so much like the real Rocky Dennis, he was actually mistaken for him by an elderly neighbour during filming.(The neighbour told him that he thought he had passed away).

One thing that I recall is how amazing the actress Renee Faia was as Cher in the 1999 TV Movie And the Beat Goes On: The Sonny and Cher Story.

I only skimmed through the movie after it was posted here... and I must say the actress really did nail Cher! She had her speaking voice, mannerisms, attitude and everything down!

One of my favorite Cher videos. It starts out with two songs by Sonny and Cher, and during the second song, The Beat Goes On, you first hear Cher's voice from 1966 (the year the song was recorded, it was released in 1967), and then you hear Cher's voice in 2014 beginning with, "History has turned a page a-huh."
