I love Friends, its one of my favorite shows of ALL time. Sometimes people make fun of me for watching it, I dont see why, its an AWESOME show. Does anybody here like it, if so, whats your favorite episode.

I love Friends, its one of my favorite shows of ALL time. Sometimes people make fun of me for watching it, I dont see why, its an AWESOME show. Does anybody here like it, if so, whats your favorite episode.

My wife and I used to watch it when it was new, but then it turned to crap after 4 or 5 seasons. Now I never watch any sitcoms at all.

Heheheh. There's so many re-termings that need to happen. How about Rom-Bombs as well for that other type of strained one-note refrain.

What i find funny are the brit-versions of friends that pop up occasionally (coz they normally manage to remove all the worthwhile bits, just like most of our replications of US things. Cold, old fast-food anyone?). The latest-ish one, "Coupling" i think, is kinda amusing, but the Joey-parallels and pub-for-coffee-shop substitutions are just so blatant.

Now, if you want to see a surreal take on the s(h)itcom genre, try Black Books. Absolutely my favourite scoop of comedy tv from the last few years.

Oh, the first two series were cool ,but what i saw of the later episodes had completely lost the plot. Didn't find it very amusing, or enlightening, or anything really. Just a twisted fist of weirdness.

I love Friends!!!!! I get made fun of too.... But yeah it is so funny. I've seen every episode and will not allow myself to miss any.

My favorite episodes were mostly when Ross and Rachel got together for the first time, I just love them as a couple on the show, Joey and Rachel didn't work for me. Yeah I agree with you. I did like the beginning episodes. However... I admit... I did not start watching the show regularly until season 5. (Maybe that's why I am so hooked on that season).

In the new season I expect a big surprise or something, cause its the last season, they have to do something shocking in one of the storylines. The new episode yesterday to me didn't really compare with the other Thanksgiving episodes, did you feel like that too?

Err... I'm kinda mad about the Joey spinoff. I think they should just let the show die with dignity. I really don't think that it will make it. Joey's a good character, but I don't think it will be good with JUST him. The characters are all needed to balance each other out.

Yeah I never liked the Idea of this show, like I said before its just not going to be the same. I doubt this show will last more than a season, and to tell the truth, Joey is my least favorite character of the guys, I like Chandler the best...:D

Yeah that is true, in season 1-6 I just loved everything his character said and did, but then he got married with Monica on the show and has had more less and less lines since. Also he's not sarcastic anymore, I loved all those sarcastic jokes he used to say.

Yeah, Joey isn't as great as everyone makes him out to be. I actually like Ross the best. He is so dorky, funny, and cute. I dunno. But yeah, Chandler's my second favorite. And I did like him better when he was living with Joey. But I do like him and Monica together.

The best part of Friends is over as far as I'm concerned. Joey and Chandler made the show funny. The two of them had a great chemistry and played off eachother perfectly. Breaking them up to team Chandler with the unfunny Monica ruined the show.

BTW: Joey was always my favorite.

I think Jennifer Aniston can be funny, but not like Joey and Chandler together. Ross is only funny occasionaly. Usually, I get sick of his sniveling.

What few episodes I have watched I wasn't impressed. I think the last episode I watched, is where Pheobe wants to buy a wedding ring or something, but things keep going wrong, awry, and. . .that's it. Atleast I think it was Pheobe.

Friends is one of my favorite sitcoms also. I missed out on the first and second season but have enjoyed watching the different episodes during the rest of the seasons. I hate to say it but I think that Rachel and Joey make a good couple even though Rachel and Ross have had their "relationships." My favorite episode is when Ross starts the butt rap song with Emma and then Ross walks in on Rachel when she's trying to get Emma to laugh from the song. I am so glad to see that Rachel and Ross get along very well now that they have Emma but they still have their ups and downs--lol.

I was freshly married when Friends came out. I remember my ex and I had a california king waterbed and we would watch Friends, then ER afterwards in bed then make...er...cookies...back then, I really enjoyed Friends, now it just seems, well, crappy. We used to laugh a lot at Joey and Chandler...now I'm depressed...thanx a lot! :furious:

I use to watch Friends when it first came out...and casually watched through the years.....but the past couple of years I've watched it less and less. This year I haven't watched it at all.

I could go into a rant about the time frame it is shown...it's much tooooo adult for an 8:00 viewing....the kids are still up. Grrrrrrr~~~~

Anyway...at this point...I don't really care what happens to the characters....just end the damn thing already.

By the way...Joey was always my favorite. He's funny and loveabe. My least favorite was Ross...he was always annoying.

Yes, I too am still a Friends fan. Always have been...and might as well stay one until the series ends. The plots have gone up and down, but as a whole it still makes me laugh and I enjoy the Thursday night television routine.

I'm not so sure. I don't have high expectations, and I probably won't watch it. Friends is just not Friends without everybody. Joey needs a Chandler to joke with. Everybody just plays off everyone else. Or at least that is my opinion.

I love friends, espwcially the early episodes. But the episodes that are currently being screened in Britain are pretty poor, and seem to have very liitle of a storyline. the first episode of series 10 was good but the 2 or 3 ones after that have been poor.
